Good Little Overdrive Pedal
I wanted some overdrive and didn't want to spend a lot of money to see what works for me, so I decided to give this little guy a try. Well, I am impressed. Does what it's supposed to do and sounds good doing it. If you are like me, and not sure what you want in an Overdrive, give this a try. I doubt you will be disappointed.

A Generic-Sounding Overdrive But, Good
I bought the Mosky Obsessive Overdrive to replace a noisy JOYO TiaChi, which I bought to replace an MXR Super Bad*** Distortion, etc. The Mosky Obsessive can get very loud (good point) but it still sounds like an overdrive unit. You have to compare one with the other to begin hearing a difference. Some, like the Tube Screamer, have an accentuated mid-range spike, which I really dislike. This pedal doesn't have that. It sounds more like you just cranked your amp - kind of generic. No really definable voicing. It has an open sound. I don't know to to define that, sorry. I have a Mosky D250X and I really like it. Truly, these pedals are kind of all the same. When I first plugged it in I thought, "Oh well, just another overdrive but, at least it was only $30.". After a lot of comparing with the TiaChi, Super Bad***, Boss Tone Driver, LovePedal, etc. I like the way it reacts with my hot rails and my Alnico 2 humbuckers. This one stays on the board with the D250X clone. Those are my 2 distortion units of choice, for now. What the heck, I would buy it again.
