I ordered in my size without any problems and have used athletic socks to Smartwool thick socks in them, again no problem. I have a slender build and my feet do not really spread, so maybe that explains the perfect fit... While I haven't hiked up mountains in them, I do work outside and walk at least 3 miles a day.They are very lightweight for boots, , well insulated, and have resisted getting wet when I use them to bust the top ice off buckets of water ( unless a boot is rubber or plastic I don't see how it could be truly waterproof anyway).These boots are super cushioned and a snug fit, which feels luxurious to me. It's December in VA and I have not had cold feet when outdoors for 6 hours and it's been as low as 30 degrees.For my low budget , best boot ever.

They arrived faster than expected. I read other reviews and got one size up. Unfortunately, I will have to return them and get an additional half size up for a total of one and a half size up. As for the shoes themselves, they are incredibly comfortable and have great support for heels and ankles. They are made very well and appear durable. The style is exactly as pictured and I appreciate that for hiking shoes they are very lightweight and not bulky. They also have traction for grip at the bottom making it great for slippery areas as well as incline. Overall, I would highly recommend these for price.

I had to return the first pair, size 6.5, they were too small with normal socks. I normslly wear 6.5 and have wide feet. My second pair, I ordered 7.5 and they fit perfect even with socks! I love the soft colors and the fact they don't have the big black toe protection like a lot of them. The price is very good, I don't know if that means they are cheap quality but I don't hike much so I am confident they will serve well for my purposes. Looks like the soles will have lots of traction but haven't hiked in them yet.

Hi Tec shoes are the best. Never had a bad pair. They are comfortable, functional and durable. They are water proof and the color is perfect.

These boots were tight in the toes for me. Very hard on the bottom of my feet. Felt like the boots didn't have any insoles. My feet were very sore just after a short time wearing them. I tried several times to break them in, but no success. It's a shame I'm stuck with them ... too late to return. These boots are so bad that I won't even pass them on to Goodwill.

These are my fav! I’ve been wearing mine for about 8months now. They provide good ankle support and very durable. A great hiking boot for the price.

Shoes run small. I’ve had them less than a week and the pull look on the back ripped out.The shoes so far appear to be waterproof. Better than the Merrill and Columbia waterproof shoes I purchased off Amazon. I think a lot of the shoes I buy off Amazon are “seconds” or am I really hard on shoes where I rip them in a week.
