Rick Wakeman - 5 Classic Albums

Nice replacement for my vinyl lp's.

Pomp at its best! Prog at its most overblown! Lets face it you either love Yes and ELP or hate them. In any event these albums are very well know and precursors of a lot of keyboard driven Prog music of today. Not sure how these relate to re-mastering because I believe most of them were out of print and I don't have them to compare to. They sound great to me.

Great set of cds and arrived on time

Rick is THE MAN! If you love what he did with Yes in the early 70s, as I do, there is some great stuff here on his solo albums for you to enjoy!

What a great set. All of the best of Rick Wakeman. I could listen all day and all night and now I can. All of his timeless works in one set.

I'm an old rocker and Rick Wakeman was THE man at the multiple keyboards. At the time these sounds (Moog) were new and unique. He was the keyboard wizard. Today, two of the CDs (White Rock and Six Wives) are classic Wakeman well worth hearing again. The other three CDs are mostly crap because of the awful lyrics, shaky vocals and some pretentious narration which we thought was meaningful back in those days. It wasn't meaningful; it was crap. Throw away three of the CDs and enjoy Rick Wakeman's fingers at their finest.

Oh the 70's! Sheer talent coupled with new instruments like Robert Moog's synthesizer. This is where I want to go again. If you had these albums once, what a great collection to have once again. If you have never heard them, put them side by side with Keith Emerson and enjoy!

Conoscevo solamente le 6 mogli di Enrico VIII ma sentendo anche gli altri 4 CD sono rimasto sorpreso da questi lavori di R. Wakeman che in alcuni frangenti anticipa di diversi anni il lavoro di altri artisti rock e non solo. Ottimo acquisto
