The photo is EXTREMELY misleading almost to the point of false advertising.
The image you see does not fill the mirror space as shown. Instead there's a screen underneath that gives you a low resolution (guessing at best 720p) image from the camera. If you want to only use the mirror, good luck, it's too smokey to get a good reflection off of.They want you to wall mount it and you have to spend more to get a cheap pressboard stand to use it on a table. Can't see how this can be wall mounted as you need to be within 2 feet of the camera to be see clearly enough.The hand waving controls rarely work. It was hard as hell to calibrate as well. Getting it onto our network was a pain and I work in the IT field.Bought this for my wife for Christmas. She hasn't used it since January.There's a newer version, but I'm not upgrading as this was a complete waste of $150

*My husband purchased this for me but I really wanted to write a review for this item*I am OBSESSED with this mirror. My husband was the one who heard about this and surprised me with it for Christmas. (Best Husband EVER!!) It was something I didn't know I needed but now can't live without.IF YOU ARE READY TO GET REAL WITH YOUR SKIN...THIS MIRROR IS FOR YOU!!!I LOVE how this mirror takes pictures and tracks the progress of your skin. It allows you to analyze the results and make adjustments to your skincare routine. The one thing I truly suggest is you are consistant in your back lighting when you do your skin analysis. My mirror is on my vanity so when I do my skin analysis I always make sure I have the same lighting each time. You will want to have the most accurate readings so tracking your progress will be easier when the lighting is the same. Just be prepared for this mirror to find all the flaws. It's a wake up call when it truly picks up any fine lines, dark spots or imperfections on your face. Trust me it's a good thing. It will help you target those areas and help you on correcting them.If this mirror was just a skin analysis it would be worth it, but it's truly so much more. You can also listen to music, read the news and find out about the weather in your area. It also has some fun beauty features as well. You can take a picture of your face and it will show you what you would look like with different makeup looks. It also shows you a video on how to create those looks and what products it suggests you try. FUN!! I have had this mirror since Christmas and I'm still discovering new things this mirror does. I'm also interested in trying the other products that work with this mirror like the Smart Body Scale and the Hiskin. I love how the Himirror tracks my skin so I would love to see how it works for the whole body with the scale.If you love your face then you need one of these. :) You only have one face so it's worth taking care of it. :)*I added pics from my phone app. The mirror will send updates to your phone and you can also see the progress you are making from there. I thought it was pretty cool that the app was reminding of the temperature changes and how I needed to moisturize* :)

Great Idea but Horrible Execution. Much too glitchy and software was clearly not tested thoroughly.
Device does not work as described. After several attempts finally got it set up but it is still extremely glitchy and non-responsive. Great idea but poor execution. Most features don't work at all and the ones that do only work half the time.

Not as easy as it looks should be touchscreen instead of waving your hand dumb
I got this for my daughter for christmas and I thought it would be better it takes a long time just to get it to work with the hand motion when you watch instructions they make it look very simple it took a good hour and I still couldnt get it to work then when you do it disappears to fast doesnt give you a chance to read what the outcome is of your face ... I will try again but it is to frustrating to do Not That Great !!!!

Difficult to interact with
Got this for my girlfriend and right from the beginning, it was difficult to use. It took a while before she could scan her face with the mirror camera. Once we got past that we had issues with the mirror detecting her hand movements so that she could navigate the menu and such. By that point, we clearly saw that it was more trouble than it was worth so we returned it. The concept is great but the application was not.
