Hi, my dog, Beryl, is a unknown mixture and I'm not sure how she compares to a Westie. Beryl is approximately 7kg in weight, the thickest part of her chest is 17 inches and she's 1 foot tall. We bought a medium and it fits lovely. Hope this helps.
