I gave the Neoteck HDMI extender five stars, because it worked with no problems over an installation that a previous one, costing nearly four times the price, failed (not from Neoteck) causing me a lot time and effort in trying to resolve.The extender is working over 35m cat6 cable giving very good display and sound. Obviously there are limitations compared to much more expensive extenders, like integrating it with other receivers or using it over your network. For the price and you want no hassle I would recommend the product.I have to admit I did not try the IR sender and receiver because of issuses with may previous purchase I bought a more expensive IR sender and receiver which have to say set up very quickly. Just placed it in front of the Sky HD+ box and it worked. No repositioning.

Bought these units as I needed to run a HDMI cable between a CCTV DVR I installed and a 42" wall mounted screen. Couldn't fit the HDMI cable with ends on down the conduits so instead I ran in 10m of CAT6 FTP, crimped two RJ45 ends on and plugged in to these units. When I first turned them on the picture came up blotchy and with pink sparkles but a short press on the reset button on both units cleared that up and it's crystal clear now.I need to do the same between a projector and pc about 50m apart so will try these units again and hope they work as they state 60m max.

Works well, picture quality is good, no problems installing. I was able to replace my existing adaptor which used 2 cat5 cables and also a separate red eye. So thrilled as I now have two spare cables for other devices.

easy to setup the thing is it does not work for me with my Virgin V6 box, there is definitely a signal going through as both lights are green and if I click the remote control in the bedroom it is changing channel in the other one in the living room but there is no video or audio on the bedroom TV from the receiver so as I say a signal yes but obviously not a fully compatible one

so i bought this to send french signal upstairs, with existing cables cat5!! it didn't work well sound picture was terrible, i have read alot of feedback on here with some having success and others going crazy... the shielding is most important factor cat6-7-8 cable cat 6 is 4 pairs with outer shielding, this again will not work i had a patch lead 20 meters off FLAT cable tried this running up the stairs it worked but signal was dropping out, becoming frustrated more crap from china!!! i was just about to return item when i realized my issue, so i purchased 20 meters round cat8 (not flat) this cable is 4 pairs cable shielded in pairs- success the picture is now perfect. it will not work with cat 5 or telephone cable it needs each pair of wires shielded

I purchased this to extend my Sky Q Box (1TB) to another room. Set up was straight forward, I used a single Cat 6 cable and a HDMI splitter to split the Sky Q source to my TV and the Neoteck HDMI Extender. TV signal in the room I was extending to worked perfectly immediately but the Sky Q Box remote control was not working. I couldn't change channels via the Infra Red sensor. It turns out the Sky Q Box remote uses Bluetooth only and with the thickness of the concrete walls in my house it would not work. I needed a replacement remote anyway for the other room and purchased a Sky Q Infra Red replacement remote. Perfect picture and can control the Sky Q Box in the other room. Note Sky Q Mini Box Remote uses Infra Red to control the box so would not have had issues I believe if I used this but it was the Sky Q Box I wanted to be able to watch in another room. Super product and would highly recommend.

Works ok - but you HAVE to use cat6 end to end (I had a 4m run of cat 6 with an RJ45 socket at each end. Using short cat5e patch leads into each rx/tx, the picture broke up. Made up short cat 6 patch leads and picture is good - indistinguishable from straight HDMI)
