A big fat battery and a choice of two back covers with a giant lump on the back. Revolutionary! I use my phone continuously and intensely to do business which means most phones last me about 6 hours - this lasts me 11 now (should last most people two full days). I wish phone manufacturers would acknowledge that while a beautiful slimline phone is nice, people really care about a phone that lasts them through a day. This does, and means I no longer have any battery anxiety at all.Turns the V20 from a 9/10 to a 10/10

Good: Significant battery boost, almost double capacity; ergonomic design/comfortable to hold; quirky attractive design; quality feelNot so good: affords no extra protection to the phone and one cannot buy a protective case to fit round this custom design.The LG V20 got very good reviews but has an anaemic battery or rather the battery can drain quickly because of signal issues with this phone. . I bought two larger batteries from Amazon (see the side by side form factor in pic 4). This one and another one which is a battery case which the V20 fits inside. At first I could not get this Perfine custom case to fit so gave up and used the other larger one.As you can see from pic 4 the alternative is bulky (and a bit awkward to hold) so I came back to this after a while and found I could get the Perfine custom case to fit after all; one has to make sure the battery is pushed in properly otherwise the case pops off. The custom cases have a nice texture, pleasant in the hand and there are two different colours to choose from. I like the silver a lot. It is very pleasant to hold, actually an improvement on the standard case since the top edge of the battery bulge gives a perfect ledge to hold with forefinger (pic 5). Another advantage of the battery 'bulge' is that one can put the phone down and the camera glass - which protrudes from the phone case - is not touching the surface (pic 3). This would also be an advantage if one dropped the phone accidentally.A major advantage in both aftermarket cases is improvement in signal (and thus battery). This is because the original case is metal and seems to interfere with the tiny aerial in the small lip at the base of the phone.All in all I am very happy with the purchase so far! I hope the battery keeps up its performance. It is important to 'condition' these batteries when first using (ie let discharge fully and charge up to full charge the first few times then attempt to keep mostly between 20-80%. Plug in when it reaches 20% and unplug when it reaches 80%. (there are battery apps that can do this for you) I would be very disappointed if I saw a drop off in performance after a couple of weeks as another reviewer mentioned but so far the extra, indeed all day, battery life is a very welcome improvement on the original After Eight Mint sized battery..

Can a gadget revolutionise your life? Yes. Yes, it can. The LG V20, what a phone. Bang & Olufsen audio, an amazing quad HD screen, plenty of memory and a truly shocking battery.I've tried carrying power banks, always too big or you forget them, same for spare batteries. Bought a power case but far too bulky to use. Then I found this. It's amazing.Up at 5.30am, an hour streaming Spotify through bluetooth headphones on the way to work, a full shift connected to my smartwatch with Google Fit running in the background, screen on FULL brightness, normal work usage etc, another two hours after work on Spotify again while shopping and when I got home 12.5 hours later, I still had 78% battery. Absolutely staggering.Does it make your phone thicker? Yes, of course it does but only by the width of a battery. And that also weighs almost nothing extra.Some complain about it getting hot while charging, mine didn't. Some complain about it looking "ghastly", I've included photos to see how "ghastly" normal it looks. It's fantastic, I'm sure it could easily last two days but know that you'll never run out of juice in a day again. Brilliant.

The original battery on my V20 was only surviving for 4-5 hours, which was useless if I was out and about, and unable to recharge it. This is the first battery I've owned that gives me all-day battery life. The first rundown test gave a total life of 30 hours. It's come down to around 20 hours now (after a few months), but is still comfortably lasting all day, which is the main thing. The battery and case add a little bulk to the lower half of the phone, but it's not excessive, and more than worth it for having a battery that won't die on you!

The battery is larger so the covers sent work well. Taking the cover off to many times will see you breaking the mounting tabs/fasteners on the cover if you are not very careful. So having 2 covers sent with the new battery allows you to order more covers before breaking the second one. If the initial charging instructions are followed, these batteries work well. This is my second time ordering this battery/cover combo.

Battery life is incredible. But because of the phone casing there is no NFC - you will not be able to use Google Pay. This caused me a lot of inconvenience.The other downside is the protection. I have no idea why the manufacturer did not make a cover which can protect the top of the phone and the area around the camera. Also, it's impossible to buy a different cover, which can fit the phone now.NFC and better phone cover is needed, even if we have to pay extra for it. Such a shame.

I was hoping that this would deliver what was advertised, it was great for about two weeks and now is lasting less time than one stock battery of half the labelled capacity. Such a shame. Unsure whether to try another and hope that this one is a duffer.

I bought this battery a while back and I must say it can last a whole day of use. I don't have to carry a power bank with me when I am out anymore. I had a problem with the back cover though. The hooks/pins of the cover are quite fragile and easily to break if dropped. However, the after sale service is wonderful and very kind enough to offer me a replacement for free. So thanks again!
