Classic fragrance, but some reservations about current formulation
Quorum is a legendary fragrance that's entrenched in 80's folklore. I'm an 80's child and I remember my father wearing this as his signature scent throughout the 80's and 90's. It's a weirdly pungent, strong, woody, leathery, 'earthy' sort of sent that gives off vibes of a confident action-man hero striving for victory when the odds are stacked against him. Imagine a chain-smoking businessman being chased by the terminator through a forest bed filled with dry autumn leaves. It's impossible to describe scents accurately, and smell is of course very subjective, but that's the sort of weirdly specfic image it conjures up in my mind.A word of caution though, if you're planning on buying this product in April 2024; I have an older bottle of Quorum that was produced in 2021, with a concentration volume of 80%. That older bottle is markedly superior in both scent quality and longevity compared to the one I purchased in March 2024, which is supposedly the same concentration level (80%) and is also an Eau De Toilette . The 2024 scent seems similar, but smells significantly weaker when compared to the 2021 bottle. Something seems to be missing from the overall scent of the 2024 bottle, and it's performance is decent but not fantastic like the slightly older versions. The older 2021 bottle last on my skin all day, and stays on clothing for up to 48 hours. The current 2024 batch seems to last about four hours on skin and wears off quickly on clothing. Sadly, the 2024 bottles appear to be sigificantly watered down when compared to bottles sold only three years ago, which is why you'll probably read conflicting reviews about how long lasting the fragrance actually is. There are different versions and forumulations of the original Quorum available to buy, and they seem to smell slightly different depending on the year the bottle was produced. Keep this is mind when purchasing.Batch issues and smell differences aside, it's still a safe purchase for a fantastic price. I will despair if this fragrance is ever discontinued, or if it's reformulated to the point of being totally unrecognisable from the original. Quorum is the olfactory equivalent of the time travelling DeLorean vehicle in Back to the Future. If you grew up with fond memories of the 80's, or have ever wondered what some of the signature masculine scents were like at that time, then this is for you. You might come across reviews elsewhere online that try to bash or disparage this fragrance. Don't be put off though. Let your own nose be the judge.

An absolute bargain..
I don't know anything about fragrance etiquete. I find that people often describe fragrance in the same way they describe wine. ie, ''I'm getting hints of basil with citrus undertones...'' blah blah blah..Personally, I don't understand such things. What I do understand however is getting a bargain, and this product is definitely a bargain. It smells nice and it's cheap. What more do you want?I will however, attempt to describe the scent, as this is probably what most people are interested in.So... The first thing I did was squirt some on my wrist. The first smell I noticed can only be described as musky. Dark and musky. Kinda like new leather mixed with spices. That probably sounds daft, but it really is the best way to describe it. It's not a fresh daytime smell, it's more of chocolately night-time smell. That probably doesn't make much sense, apologies for that but it's a tricky scent to describe.After it had been on my skin for a while I noticed that the smell had changed. This happens with all fragrances, so was happy to see that this cheap product was behaving like a propper Eau De Toilette.The smell is completely different after it's 'matured' onto your skin. It's more spicy, more delicious, more sweet.In-fact, that's probably a good way of describing it. Imagine that you've just walked into a Ye Olde Sweet shop, and you can smell all kinds of delicious sweetness, mixed with the smell of cut grass and wood shavings.It's the complete opposite to a daytime chav lynx type smell. It's more sophisticated, it's darker, it's musky, it's more mature. It's like evening sunsets mixed with toffee and and crammed into a bottle.There, that's my mad description over. Hopefully it's not too obscure.I asked my missus to have a sniff after i put some on. She said ''ooh that's lovely, where did you get that?''I also asked my friend what she thought, her response was.. ''mmm, that's yummy. What is it? I've never smelt anything like that before..''A few more people have smelt it since, and the main responses were comments concerning how unique it smelt. Everyone seemed to like it, and no-one had smelt anything like it before.So, based on the comments I got from my friends and family, I can say that it smells nice. Lol.All in all, this is a very nice fragrance. It has a strong mature scent, it lingers on the skin well, the bottle is attractive, and so is the price.If you're in two minds as to whether to get this or not, then I say go for it. I took a gamble on this product and it paid off. It's one of the most unique fragrances i've come across, and I will definitely be ordering some more when this bottle runs out.A quality product at a decent price. Recommended.

Absolutely glorious!
The stink of the gods! Dirty Kouros vibes for me but more woody, green and herbaceous and less floral. At this price it’s a must for my collection. An 80s masterpiece for real men. Subscribed to never be without it.

Nice smell and long lasting
Used this back in the 80's still like it now, although box was damaged, it had been opened as the was no clear wrapping, and the bottle wasn't full, looked like a return item.

Great smell great value
I saw this and remembered it was bought for me one Christmas. I remembered that the scent was very nice and when I saw that it was only £16 per 100ml I went and bought 2 bottles. The smell of the product is fantastic and is long lasting definitely recommend.

Ein Klassiker aus meiner Jugend (ich damals 16 Jahre alt) das war vor 35 Lenzen.Damals ein sehr edler und angesagter Männerduft, auch nicht so günstig im Erwerb.Jetzt hier durch Zufall wieder entdeckt und sofort bestellt.Paket kam sehr schnell und gut und sicher verpackt.Der Duft ist der selbe wie damals, frisch und herb, sehr männlich.Wer es maskulin mag ist hier gut bedient.Die Sillage und Performance würde ich als guten Durchschnitt bezeichnen.Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
