Surprise, surprise...
I’ve never heard of these people. And I’m pretty knowledgeable about electronics. I was looking for outdoor speakers for our new spa, and they needed to work with the WiFi, because Bluetooth might be too far to work. If they were Airplay ready, that would be a bonus. So I took a chance on these because they were both WiFi and airplay compatible, and the price was reasonable. I’m so glad I did. They sound great, work with all my devices, and were super easy to set up. I read later that TIC specialize in outdoor sound systems, and they do a great job. I’m very happy with this purchase.Update: I have now been using these speakers for a couple of months out by my spa, and they are fantastic. I am happier now than I was when I first put them in. I am seriously considering getting another pair to replace my wired patio speakers. I am now only hoping for a firmware update to AirPlay 2 so that I can play both at once.

Great for stand-alone. Horrible if you try to sync multiple speakers together.
We purchased two pair of the 6.5" speakers and one pair of the 5" speaker wifi version of these speakers for an apartment building. We were really hoping to stream music to all speakers at the same time. While the TIC app allows you to combine speakers, they do not work together. I have spent hours reseting speakers and have spoken to tech support multiple times. Apparently, the first speaker you connect to is then used as the "wifi router" for the other speakers to play from. So, even though we have a wifi array in our apartment building, the fact that the first speaker is used, the other speakers are too far away (only 50' away and not through any walls). I wish all the speakers used MY wifi to stream the same music from instead of having to use the first speaker. The sound quality is great though.

Update: Epic Fail. Twice!!
havent mounted them outside yet, will update review if they fall apart. Sound quality is good and add airplay support to that, these are amazing outdoor speakers.Update: installed them outdoors in semi shaded area. First pair failed to power on after 4 weeks of use. Sent back at my own expense for warranty repair. They quickly sent me back a unit that wasn't my original and was clearly repaired. It was installed upside down in the chassis. Used it for a few weeks. Started to pop and music cuts in and out and falls out of sync with other speakers. Asked them to replace with a clearly new unit. Not poorly repaired. They sent me a replacement master speaker again and this one does the same. Pops and stops playing. Then get out of sync with all my other speakers. It has 70% wifi signal. I moved a WiFi node outside to ensure. I emailed them about the second unit performing as poorly. No response. $200 down the toilet. I don't use them anymore. Will buy a proper airplay receiver and passive outdoor speakers. These are garbage after continued use.

Improved Design and Better Sound!
Bought a pair to replace 11-year old pair of the same model. I never pulled the old pair inside during SC's relatively mild winters and speakers were only partially shielded under the roof's eaves. A long lifespan for outdoor speakers given this use and conditions.TIC improved the ASP120 design with:1) larger enclosure resulting in better bass (all outdoor installs are challenging for good bass);2) easier access to speaker terminals and the 8 Ohm/70 Volt selector is now on opposite end away from the speaker terminals, now it is much easier to reach both;3) maintained the same solid construction and weather proofing as before.Overall, noticeably better SQ in an improved enclosure and I was pleased with the previous version. Very hard to beat at a $120 price point per pair!

Sound Great, one minor flaw.
I can play music now for the entire neighborhood! And just for when we are sitting on my deck. My wife is constantly telling me to turn it down! They setup great and they work. I don't like the fact that they are powered all of the time. You either need a switch or access to the power supply plug to power them down. Since I had my electrician put in an outlet where they are mounted above my patio, I had to install an app controlled power outlet so I can power them down without climbing up on a ladder to unplug them. I probably should have gone with the smaller version, but they're up and working, sound great and the bluetooth connection is easy. Find a way to power them down and I would go five stars.

Get what you pay for
Ok, so I followed the instructions to get these set up and it was NOT easy. Lots of hassle and not intuitive at all. Finally got them set up on my wifi and playing music. No support for Amazon music, which was not very impressive. Can do it though airplay, but it's the same as bluetooth at that point - if a phone goes too far from the wifi, it drops. So now after a day of using them, they randomly drop the volume to about half on their own and then I have to restart them. Sometimes it lasts a while... sometimes only 2 minutes. Irritating and frustrating to say the least. This is obviously technology rushed onto the market without proper testing. The app is awful and buggy. I guess you get what you pay for. I will be sending these back most likely and getting something that WORKS!!!!! Don't mind paying a little more for something that isn't a giant pain!

Avoid, poor design and function
Loud beeps on power on, needless flashing led when connected, pops and clicks when doing different apps on the phone, no low end bass at all, manufacturer labels stickler falling off... constantly have to climb up and reset them to get the connection to work, given there intermittent functionality.

Not AirPlay 2, native app is not worth the trouble
Pros: Decent sound quality Good looking Nice connectionsCons: AirPlay but not AirPlay 2 (which means you can only select 1 source at a time) Connectivity- spotty, in a out Native App - potentially for using multiple sets, too hard to use, and times out frequentlyI didn’t want to run the native app and Apple Music at the same time and still experience intermittent problems so I returned them.
