I love this tool, it works great when I have bad headaches and stiff neck, or pain in my shoulders, I also love the size, much easier to handle.

I have issues with my feet and hip and, when I over do it, I end up with a lot of pain. My son got himself a hook and liked it so much he got me one. I started using the hook every night before bed and slowly but surely things improved. Not only does it relaxes my neck and my shoulders after a busy day but my feet and hip started to get relieved. I no longer use it every day because I don't always need it but, as soon as I feel a muscle getting tight, I reach for my hook! It's very sturdy. The shape makes it easy to relax even as I give myself a pressure point massage. I haven't found a sore muscle I could not reach with this. Perfect for relaxing muscles after a hard day at work. Fits perfectly in my suitcase and goes with me wherever we go. I love it!

Very useful and easy to use

This massage hook is sturdy and does what it's designed for, as long as you have a smaller build. I'm a woman, 5'4", not particularly chesty, but not skinny either (size 14) - and it reached the pesky knot between my shoulder blades just fine and was sufficiently sturdy for me to put good pressure on it. But my husband has the same shoulder blade knot, and he could not fit the hook over his shoulder & pec to reach it. He had to angle it up, so it was more like he was using the flat side of the black massage egg, not the pointier part. It also was resting on his shoulder, so he couldn't really create the leverage to massage it deeply. He is only 5' 11", but heavier (2XL) and barrel shaped - there's no way he could hook this product over his shoulder like I could on my body. The horizontal distance from the egg's point to the cane on the opposite side is only about 6." Since looking around more on Amazon, some other products are over 8" in that measurement, so I am returning this one and trying a larger one.If you have a smaller build, it will probably work great but if you are a very busty woman or a bigger guy, you might need to look for a different style.On a different note, the seams from the injection molding of the plastic parts are quite raised, at least on the one I got. When I was using it the seam on the black egg felt scratchy and irritating through my shirt. If I were to keep it, I would just file the seam down with a nail file, but since I'm returning it, I obviously didn't.

This is the bomb. It does a great job of pressure-releasing those knots you can't reach mid-back.

I have had two of these snap on me now. The design is the best and I can get relief so well when it's still together. Both broke in the same place, the main curve to the black egg part. The first one lasted me over a year and the second only a few months (and I was much easier on the second one trying not to break it). I'm really disappointed because it is the best design/shape. I'm going to try to fix mine somehow. I wish I knew exactly what kind of plastic (chemically) it was made from. If I buy another, I will find a way to reinforce the curve before I use it. (Yes, the design is worth the effort.)
