Soothing spray with better spray bottle
It has changed from the old bottle I use to buy. It smells the same but the ingredients may have changed a bit?I love using this as it soothes and cools the intimate area. I’ve experienced no stinging or anything. Also glad they changed the spray nozzle, so you can spray the bottle upside down (much easier!)

A good product for mild to moderate symptoms - also an essential product for all/majority of women !
There are few alternatives to 'Canestan' and sometimes the symptoms don't warrant anything too harsh. Therefore, for mild symptoms at certain times I definitely recommend this product. You can also identify the severity of the 'problem' by the reaction to the spray - ie. the more it stings the worse your problem is - as we all know it is sometimes hard to know if it is slight, minor or vering on major ! Although major does warrant a visit to a pharmacist ! You can monitor the improvement when using the product regularly as the reduction of the 'stinging' ceases fairly quickly from when you first use it. It is very comforting to note when one has the problem that there is something that works. The 'Canestan' cream can often be too harsh and any alternative to strong chemicals on very delicate skin is always preferable. Definitely an essential item for a large majority of women I would think !

It works!
After months and months of torment, only mildly relieved by other products I've been trying, this has significantly reduced the itching and burning. It has a scent of tea tree oil which some people may not love, but I think it's a small price to pay for the relief from the itching and discomfort. It's quite a bit cheaper that the other products I've been buying too, and so far I have only had to use it three times in two days. This product is described as a wash and a spray - I've only used it as a spray and I'm so pleased to have found it.

Works well but stings
Upon application it stings like crazy and I was almost in a mind to wash it off but I persevered and after about 15 mins it settled and the original reason I was using it eased and the itching stopped and it was very cooling. I've given it 4 stars because of the stinging and the slightly sickly smell.

Brilliant stuff
This is fabulous stuff. Don’t be put off if it initially feels like it’s burning, this is very quickly followed by a very cool soothing sensation. It tends to sting more if you’ve got thrush. I use it every day and wouldn’t be without it.

Very effective
This is a very good product. Ignore the initial stinging - it’s worth it. Lovely, fresh green tea scent. It works better than medicated products.

Burns intimate skin - ingredients changed
I'd used Topida for years (since Salcura first brought their skin treatments on the UK market over 10 years ago, and it was always fantastic at helping to treat and calm early signs of thrush flare up. I spotted in 2019 that the ingredients changed when the packaging changed which made me compare the old and new bottle.I've bought this twice since but although I have tried persevering, this formula really burns my intimate skin so I can no longer use it for what it's intended. Also the smell whilst has always been strong due to the tea tree, it also had nice aromatherapy smells of things like lavender and camomile but this new formula is much more synthetic smelling and lacks the more pleasant aromatherapy scents.I've also found that the Salcura range, including the intensive spray, the Zeoderm cream and the omega shampoo have all been changed (and are less effective on sweat rash and eczema) or some products have been axed altogether. What a shame as I was a bit of a brand ambassador for Salcura and particularly recommended Topida to my friends over the years as it was brilliant, but their products are now sub-standard compared to what they were so sadly will no longer be buying any of their items.

Has the formula changed?
This used to be fantastic, it soothed right away when you sprayed it, now all I get is 10 seconds of severe stinging before it starts to work. Why did they change the formula? I think I might have to look for an alternative.
