#MS12 - PAINTED SHABBY CHIC FURNITURE / CHALK PAINT ART RESTORATION SET OF 12 CHALK PAINT AND WAX PRECISSION , WAXING , PAINTING ROUND and FLAT pure BRISTLE and SYNTHETIC BRUSHES

Bought as a gift for my brother who has a new found interest in repainting furniture. He's been using very cheap brushes, which affect the quality of the finish, (I'm a retired coach painter and its something which annoys me when people buy poor quality tools), so I thought he would enjoy using these.There's a nice selection of brushes in what I'd call a starter pack, and there's a useful little printed note covering the suitable use for the brushes, (colour coded red, blue and yellow....the pack were all red coloured), and basic does and don'ts on their care.

The brushes were all quite small - smaller than I had expected. However the whole set is good value for money for the price.Have tried the round paint brushes and the round wax brushes so far and they're very practical for getting into the detailed sections of wood pieces, though they shed a little.

I have tried out all brushes now but have only used one of the Waxing paint brush. So far so good and have not had any shedding from the brushes yet. I would buy these again as the price was good and very delivery was next day

Good brushes for rustic look or a solid colour, used similar for £10 per brush.

GOOD BRUSHES, great as expected for brushes. Lovely selection of types andsizes.Did my first chalk paint project ( an old woodenstool) it was transformed to purple wood grain andgrey and old white shades swooshed in abstract effect.

This was supposed to be a repeat of an order I had last year and was delighted with. I wouldn't have bothered ordering this one but unfortunately I ordered 2 packs. One pack only had 11 brushes in most of the brushes are like kids paint brushes which are completely useless to me. Will be returning for a refund.

Think these are fine, but haven't used them yet. They look as if they would do the job OK.

Excellent value. Used this to paint tables, chairs, sideboards and not a great deal of bristle loss or anything else. Remarkable value

Even after following the instructions for first time use I still have bristles falling out. Nothing more aggravating than finishing a project and seeing several "hairs" in it that need to be sanded out and then repainted. You definitely get what you pay for.

These brushes are horrible!! I've never seen even the really cheap chip brushes lose bristles the way these do. I've tried 3 so far and all three did the same thing. Scared to try the others because it makes the job take twice as long, when I have to pick bristles out of the paint, constantly.
