This pen is fairly comfortable to use. Overall, I would say that, for the price, I am disappointed as the nib is scratchy and thin. I have an old Parker pen that I have had for 30 years, which I wanted to replace, as I thought I would get something far superior by buying new. However, this is not superior, and makes a scratchy noise when I write. The nib is Italic, but is way too thin to make my writing look Italic. I have been writing italically now for 52 years, and was so looking forward to my new pen arriving.I will probably resort to using my cheap old Parker!

I love this pen so much, I was heart broken when I broke it last year. I live in the USA and cannot get it here. Ordering through amazon saved me money on the VAT tax. Extremely happy. Well made, large piston reservoir. It is a heavy pen, but I like that. Madly in love.

My first pen with an Italic nib, makes writing a new pleasure. The pen is chunk and heavy which is exactly what I was looking for. Also it is nice to buy something from a small brand for a change. (the pens are made in the far-east, quality control/finishing is in the U.K.) Topping it all off the price is great value. Fine writing instrument delivered next day. Used the 30 day nib exchange to suit my style of writing after getting some good advice from the seller who pointed out exactly what I'd need. I now have a cursive italic stub which is a pleasure to write with. Accepts Waterman long cartridges. Overall very happy and would highly recommend.
