Size Name:1 x 120 mm Fan (Single Pack) | Style Name:AF120 | Colour Name:Red Product Description Corsair Air Series LED high airflow PC case fans combine efficient, low-noise airflow with striking LED lighting. The blades are custom-molded for optimal airflow, and they're ultra-thin for less noise and turbulence. The sleeved bearing system reduces vibration for quiet operation. The fan blades are translucent, with a frosted texture, so the light from the four LEDs adds a dramatic effect. Air Series AF fan models perform best in unrestricted spaces with at least 3cm of clearance, and they're ideal for mounting at the rear or top of your PC case as exhaust fans for your PC's motherboard and CPU, graphics accelerators, and other components that fill the case with heat. They work equally well as unrestricted intake fans for areas like side panels or bottom intakes. For high restriction areas like hard drive cages or in other tight spaces where there's less air volume, check out our Air Series SP models of high static pressure fans. They are sick and red like the colour of my ex wife’s eyes!Karen if you are reading this, the sofa was always mine and the kids are staying with me.

Very Bright and Great Value
Used these 2 white fans to install on my corsair h100i pro and it was an excellent choice. The fans come with 4 screws each and they are very easy to install. Noise levels are very quiet and my system temps are great. Not to mention how bright these things are too, they light up my whole PC, great product.

Quiet Edition, yeah just like a tractor
I don't know how marked it as Quiet Edition: despite saying that 25 decibels are quite soft, this stuff is rather noisy. It not just the hiss of the air but also a disturbing humming on the background. I used to have a silent PC before with three fans, now I can ear it from the next room. Also, there are no arrows indicating the airflow so I needed to guess (for the record, the air goes in direction of the NICE label -- since there are labels on both sides -- that is the one without the indication of the voltage). For the name brand, I was expecting good stuff. These are just overpriced, I could I bought everything else instead. I keep them just because the next fan I'll buy them on a dedicated shop.

Great fans that do a fantastic job of shifting air.
I bought two AF140 LED fans to go into the top space on my Corsair Obsidian 450D. This case already had two 140mm fans at the front and one at the back and with it being a big case I wanted to extract warm air as quickly as possible. The case is the windowed version and i bought the red led version of these fans and they look superb inside the case casting a nice red glow across the components inside. The fans, as you would expect from Corsair, are of a high quality - they come with 4 mounting screws and a fairly long cable. As previously mentioned, my case is quite big and I actually bought the following extension cable Akasa AK-CBFA01-30 30 cm PWM Fan Extension Cable as some reviews said the fan cable was very short however I didn't use the extension at all as I connected them both to the following Akasa AK-CBFA04-15 PWM Fan Splitter Cable for 2 Fans and then onto the 4 pin connector on the motherboard. In use, and this is playing Battlefield 1, they don't sound too loud - louder than idle but then they are shifting huge amounts of air and being 140mm fans they run slower anyway so not as loud as they could be! However they are NOT silent so don't buy these expecting them to be.For reference I'm running a 4790K cpu with EVO 212 cooler and two fans, R9 270X, 3 HDD, 2 SSD, 16GB ram - so quite a bit of kit in the case. My cpu temps are 28 degrees idle and 60 degrees stressed and case temps are 23 degrees idle and 24 stressed - this is in a room with an ambient temperature of 22 degrees so I'd say overall these are doing a great job of extracting the air from the case.If you have found this review helpful, please let me know by hitting the “helpful” button! or if you have any questions then feel free to ask :)

Performs as advertised.
Added three of these puppies to provide additional cooling to my editing rig. Two serve as an intake and one as an exhaust and they are all mounted on the top of my case. They are not silent but they are not loud either, to be honest I don't even notice them unless I am specifically trying to do so, but I'm not one to be too picky with my system noise. As far as looks, well, they emit the light of your choice. For me, I got the red version as the color scheme matches my Ryzen black and red build. As far as performance goes, they perform as advertised and lowered my idle temps from 28.5C to 26.5C. I am looking to add two more to have a total of 8 but I'm not sure that adding two more would provide additional cooling as I believe I am at a point of diminishing returns. Regardless, I will probably end up buying two more of these as I do like the lighting and these Corsair fans perform as advertised.

Really good quiet fans
Really impressed with these Corsair fans from the nifty looking box to the way they work. The box comes with 2 fans packed fairly tightly together and two small bags of screws. My case has special clips so i didn't need to use the screws, but they look easy enough to put in. The small cable has a 3 pin connector so won't be able to use the variable burst on newer motherboards and has to use the standard DC fan management. This is fine as you can use an app like SpeeFan or Asus' own Motherboard software in Windows to manage speeds. At low speeds (up to 500rpm) the fans make hardly any noise, rising to about 22db at the top speed of 1500rpm, which you'd only need for pretty intense gaming on hefty graphics cards that produce a lot of heat. Mine are running on an average of 600-800rpm with a gentle fan sound. The red glow is great, especially if you haven't got any lights in your case already. Even with existing lights these help to brighten things up. Just remember to add them the right way around for the airflow (pulling air in through the front and out through the back and top).

Very misleading, but good for the price.
I first bought these fans for them to be silent. But when they were running at full speed they wasn't. These fans are very misleading, to make them silent with a molex to 3 pin fan you will have to force the molex connecter to go on backwards so it connects to the 5V instead of 12V. This is because the fans are just too loud while they are running on 12V. On 5V you still get enough air flow to keep your parts cool inside of your case. But if you got a fan controller for a 3-pin fan that would be ideal, so you wouldn't have to run the fans at full speed all the time.
