This insect trap uses blue light to attract the insects to a sticky pad which they bump into and get stuck on. Simple and effective!Due to the use of light the trap is most effective in the evening when the lights are off, so typically after we've gone to bed, but there has been a significant reduction in mosquitoes and gnats that fly in from outside in the house.There are two light settings between a blue or yellow light. But we typically use the blue and have found not to be the most effective. Will be buying for other rooms!

I liked that they work well, for a time, but the light has dimmed considerably over time, making it much less effective.

While I appreciate the stylish/minimal design, its performance leaves something to be desired. Unfortunately, it has only managed to catch one mosquito in the past month, and it doesn't seem effective for fruit flies. While I like the look of it, I have mixed feelings about its functionality. It seems sticky and bright enough, however not effective enough. It’s a great value however unsure since it doesn’t seem very effective. Pros are it’s very very easy to install, clean and safe around kids/non toxic. Cons: doesn’t seem very effective.

Love having a stockpile for these summer days when we have so many bugs. These things work great for trapping those little gnats with the adhesive trays. I try to replace mine every couple of weeks or so, but it depends on how many flies we have at that time. Super easy to install. Great to have a value pack stock piled where you can plug it into any room, making it versatile. You can do different brightness levels.

I love this product! No smell, easy to use, and catches tons of bugs! The first day I plugged mine in, it caught 5 big house flies and probably a dozen little gnats. I have one in my kitchen and another in the basement.

The light works good and changes to different colors, and there were a lot of bugs that stick on it.When I first tried it, I thought it wasn’t working but I keep seeing more bugs stuck on there after almost a week. I made sure to save up my sticky pads so I don’t run out.It’s easy to install, very safe to use, no mess, and stickiness works to get annoying bugs from flying or crawling in your house!

I bought this item to get rid of gnats and ants. However, it doesn’t to be very effective. It does work as a good night light in the restroom.
