Received this beauty yesterday. I'm overwhelmed at how big it is. Not that easy to put together but my hubby to be managed it with a little help from wifey for lifey to be :)Some screws aren't easy to put in but it helps being short in height and just fitting under the bbq itself. We've not used it yet as we are waiting for an ok day to see what it cooks like. At the moment it's in our living room keeping out the rain (bless it). It seems sturdy enough, I mean it is sturdy as I'm clumsy and this bbq didn't fall over or break when I tripped or knocked it, so must be good. I'd say it is value for money but we are waiting for our house wedding reception to actually try it out. Wish us luck as we might all go bang 🤔

Great product. However, took me 3 hours to assemble. 2 people would have made it easier. I had questions about the side burner connection and had to email buydirect4u who dealt with the query promptly. Thanks Kerri. (Details below). Now have a fantastic BBQ. Used it to cook a whole chicken and was delighted with the results. A great buy.....Side Burner Attachment.There are often concerns as it is not 100% clear in the instructions how to attach the size burner; many people are looking for a sealed connection.The side burner connection is not sealed, the pipe from the gas flow should be just be placed loosely in the pipe of the side burner and works on the same principle of a Bunsen burner with the gas flowing through drawing in air.

Great quality BBQ, sturdy, good heat, cooks quickly. Handy integrated hooks for your utensils and a little rack for holding sauces, seasoned, burger cheese etc as you cook, so keeping everything handy. Would have given 5 stars but the flame tamers for this model (BBQ16BLK) are starting to degrade after just over a year, bending and look like they are going to crack but you cannot buy replacements ANYWHERE, even from Charles Bentley, seem to be out of stock constantly, and if they break completely I either cannot use the BBQ, or will have to find an after market solution.

Good bbq works well, side burner is a bit tricky to fit but apart from that assembly is straight forward. The deflectors over the burners are a bit flimsy. But apart from that it's a good bbq. It also works well with a spit roaster

First BBQ arrived bent and paint chipping off after contacting the company I had to go to amazon for help. The 2nd one arrived better condition but bent in places but when I used it the paint has started to peel. Iv messaged the company again and had no response.It took a full day to assemble and instructions where ok but not great.Very unhappy and upsetWould be good if they responded on the 2nd complaint but they just don't seem interested once they have your money 🤔

I bought this for my son in laws birthday, when it arrived, the box was damaged, so arranged via amazon to contact Charles Bentley to collect the damaged box. They promptly replied and replaced the box. Once the Bbq was built its strong, sturdy and well built. It did take a few hours for two people to build it but definitely worth the effort.We have had a big family bbq, it was easy to use. It is a very big bbq, but looks stunning.If you decide to buy one, make sure you buy a cover for it, worth all the money. Enjoy

A good bbq but had a faulty connection which caused the bbq to catch fire which was very dangerous. Not much help from the company so only lasted for 1 summer season.

Overall I am happy with the barbeque. Firstly, you get a lot for your money, and It was delivered earlier than expected. I would have given a 5-star rating if not for a few minor quality issues which is just down to bad luck. On the plus side, the barbeque looks impressive. It's big and attractive, strong and sturdy. The neighbours complimented it too! I have used it once so far and was able to cook all our meals at the same time for a family of six. The main burners all ignited first time. It is easy to move when not in use on its 4 wheels. The valves, burners and fittings are robustly constructed. Everything passed the initial leak test. The controls work well and I felt safe using it. The regulator which is supplied is for propane only. I bought a separate butane regulator and gas bottle only because I read that butane is more energy-efficient and lasts longer.Unfortunately, there were a couple of pieces with minor damage. The front-facing panel which houses the side burner control has a small dent which protrudes outwards near the control knob. There is also a smaller dent on the left-hand side front panel too. These aren't major problems, cosmetic only, but still, a shame because the rest of the barbeque is perfect. The packaging it came in was entirely sound outside and inside, so I think the damage occurred before it was even shipped out of the factory. It's the chance you take when buying something you haven't actually seen yet.The side burner would not ignite after several attempts so I had to use a lighter. This may be because it's new so I will try again the next time. All the control knobs are plastic with a chrome finish. Nice looking but cheap. It would have been nice if they were made of better material, like the rest of the barbeque, but that would have put the cost up. My partner and I assembled the entire barbeque in three hours, but it would have been quicker if not for the poor instruction pictures. Even with adequate reading glasses, I struggled to see the inset pictures clearly, which were way too small and vague, but we figured it out eventually.These are not major issues, as I can use and enjoy the barbeque, and as said before - you get a lot for the money.
