Occasionally you come across a tool that's so nicely made and so intrinsically tactile that you just fall in love. This is one of those tools.They absolutely ooze quality, and I have noticed a direct correlation between me picking these things up, and the appearance of a huge stupid grin on my face.They cut beautifully, the pivot is buttery smooth, they have a very cunning spring on/off feature, and they feel like they will last for ever.Buy them!

This is my second set, and for good reason. The first has been incredibly reliable, delivering years of continuous, trouble-free use. Durability and performance are outstanding, making this an easy choice to purchase again.

Really fantastic cutters, I have both the 180 and 160.They have out lived many other cutters I have owned and had a much harder life being my go too tool in my pocket everyday for around 15 years. They have probably been used to pull more nails than cut wires but still cut and strip wires well when needed. My first replacement pair was after a particularly heavy job, that they are not ment for that damaged the tip. The rivet is still good but I like to dig nails out with them so got a new pair, the old ones having been re-grown to a new blunt tip are other wise still good.I am also a big fan of the spring thay can be disengaged with one hand.

love bahco always havethese are very sharp and do last last a while if kept oiled clean ect.only negative is there is a metal spring arm you can slide up to make them spring loaded but as i came to find out the button is on the inside of the handles and if one was to cut threw a live cable one would most definitely get a bite! trust mesaying that iv just bought another pair ;S

They feel perfect in the hand and cut very well.I like them soo much i have two pairs, one for work and one for home. The idea that you can use the springy thing to open up the side cutters is a brilliant idea. I dont usually use this but when i do its nice and quick to do so, put it away again so they act like normall side cutters again. Gets it out of the way to stop it being annoying.Would definatley recomend to anyone thinking of buying this pair.

Very good cutters. Very comfortable rubber grip when making the needed many cuts compared to other brands. Clever design with the retractable metal spring wire to slide into place for when in use and can be retracted to put cutters away without having pop open or keeping tension on the spring causing it to weaken. Well recommended and certainly going to get another pair in future.
