Great taste
This coffee has a great flavor and aroma. I didn't really pick up all the expressed notes like chocolate, hazelnut, or cherry but it was very smooth and tastes great as a standalone black coffee.

Old Crow, one solid cup of joe
I just bought it to try a different coffee and Im so glad I did. I am a true black coffee drinker, no sugar, no cream. Rich and smooth with one great aftertaste. To me the aftertaste is the most important aspect of a great coffee. This coffee does not disappoint. I will be buying this again many times over. Very solid choice.

Tasty Coffee, Pleasant Medium Roast with Berry-like Flavor
Satisfying cup of brew! Red Rooster's Old Crow Cuppa Joe blend features a medium roast with a nice nutty and berry-like finish. It comes in a standard coffee bag with the one-way valve and tear-off perforation at the front. It features nice and simple branding as well as information on the blend and the brew method. As a medium roast, it provides a deeper and richer flavor than a light roast. The beans are a chocolate-like brown with no oils on the surface that darker roasts tend to have. They have a nice fragrance that become even stronger once brewed.I brew the beans with a medium coarse grind in my automatic drip brewer and watch as the coffee flow down. The coffee features a nice nuttiness and a slight tinge of sourness that mellow out quickly. It is not astringent or unpleasant but can be mellowed out further with the addition of cream and sugar. I did not notice the chocolate notes, but I did find that coffee is easy to drink with a nice mouthfeel and smoothness. A nice pleasant cup for the morning.Definitely worth trying and I would recommend it. It has a nice flavor that isn't overtly sour or bitter while having a nice body and flavor.

Great cup of joe!
I really enjoyed this coffee. I’m more of a light roast lover but I often drink medium roast as well. This bag of medium roast coffee beans really hit the mark. It has a smooth flavor. I brewed mine a little on the weaker side and added kosher salt to the filter and ended up with the smoothest coffee that I could drink black. The wonderful beans made my kitchen smell like a coffee shop! The bag was really convenient to open. There is a pull tab that opens the bag, and then there is a ziplock to close it. I love this versus the tradition side tabs that cinch the bag after rolling. This style is way easier. The artwork on the bag is very cool. I am currently displaying mine on my coffee bar as if it were a piece of art! I was pleasantly surprised to see that this is from a small business in Virginia. Their beans are usda inspected and fair trade certified. Wish they had a location in Missouri! Luckily I can get their beans online. Highly recommend!

Light and medium roasts for people that don’t use a sweetener
Acidic as a black unsweetened brew. I used 8 oz water with Keurig. Acidity in coffee is when the bean is light roasted, so it retains more of the fruity flavors’ vs medium dark or French roast, when they are roasted longer, and becomes bolder and more bitter. When I added some cream, the acidity disappeared, the coffee is lighter, fruitier. Light and medium roasts are perfect for people that don’t use a sweetener.

Used to be Great
9 months ago Old Crow Cuppa Joe from RR was amazing! Chocolate and intense cherry were freaking amazing in lattes, pour overs, Moka Pots… every way I could brew it!But this current batch in June 2024 is really disappointing. I can only get generic coffee flavor with a tiny bit of berry sweetness. A hollow shell of what this blend used to be.I wouldn’t wright off this coffee yet but rather I’d recommend waiting a few months until they can get more green coffee in and hopefully improve the blend.
