Love it
I did a long long research on bikes which would best suit me the most - the conditions being, I wanted a bike which would be best suited to ride along East/North East London canals, didn't wanted it to be a terrain nor a street bike, wanted it to be very good looking and lastly within £200. I did end up paying £210 but it was well worth it. The bike arrived perfectly fine unlike as mentioned in the other reviews. You will need some bike toolkit though to assemble the bike. The instructions which was I think given in the email/arrived with the bike was generic in nature. At the end of the day, you just need some common knowledge to assemble the whole bike, which is not at all hard. This is my 1st bike so I guess I guess I didn't tighten the screws properly so one of the screws which fasten the handle flew off. Apparently getting specific screws are almost impossible to find, the bike repair shops said they will have to replace the whole handle which would be around 40/50 quids. To give it a try, I emailed the KCP guys for the screw replacement. They were very helpful. They asked some of my order details and they send me a whole handle with all screws and bolts. As I mentioned, I only ride along the canals and till now I never had issues with the bike. I occasional pumped some air into the tires and that's it. Truly a beautiful bike and the perfect one for leisure rides.

Good bike but service sucked!
The bike arrived in a box which looked slightly battered but seemed OK. I opened the box, took all the pieces out and found there was a dent in the front mudguard and had a broken spoke on the front wheel. The dent I tried pushing out and reached a satisfactory result. The spoke, however, was irreparable. I emailed the German manufacturer and explained the problem then proceeded to construct the bike. The instruction booklet was in some form of pigeon English and very hard to follow, but, with a bit of guesswork and a lot of patience I managed to build a functioning mode of transport. I awaited a reply to my email and it came, and read as follows: "Dear customer, it is probably a transportation damage! We can refund you 5 pounds to change it, such a spoke costs probably 0.50 pounds! Is it Ok for you so we can initiate the refund via amazon."I replied: "Yes, that's OK but where do I get one the same as the others and how do I fit it?"They replied: "In each bike store you can find such spokes, to change it you should have to take the tyre down and mount the new spoke with the nipple on the rim, it is not difficult. You can ask tin the store to do that, it is a matter of 5 minutes."I replied: "Thankyou for your response. But can you tell me what size the spoke is so I can order one, and do you know where I can order one from?"They replied: "Actually you can buy it directly in each bike workshop near you. We will see if we can send you some spokes as a letter."I replied: "If you can send me some that would be great....if not can you tell me the size and dimensions."They replied: "We will send you 2-3 pieces do not warry."I replied: "Thankyou, that's very kind."A few days later, three spokes arrived. 'Great' I thought, I could not complete the project. No...I couldn't. The spokes were too long. Hacked off with my pen-letter relationship with the said manufacturer, I took to You Tube to see get a quick lesson on how to fix a spoke...after, that is, when I cut it too the correct length and purchased a spoke spanner to complete the job! (from Amazon, good price, but not the point!).So, in conclusion.....The bike itself, once constructed, is solid, looks well built, and rides well (plenty of safety features and extras that don't come as standard on most bikes). The service, however, sucked! I never got the £5 refund to my Amazon account (presumably they used that to send me the spokes, which were wrong anyway!), the instruction booklet which, by the way, was a PDF attachment to one of the plethora of emails from KCP, makes for an amusing read but serves poorly as a construction guide, and, finally, a bike from overseas should, in my humble opinion, need to be packed far more securely for transport. If I could turn back the clock? Despite the fact the bike, after all the hassle, is quite good, I think I would have paid the extra (or not in some cases) and bought British!

Bike Looks Great ( If only I could ride it. )
Just received the bike today. Pleased with delivery got it within 8 days of dispatch from manufacturer. Packaging was intact and upon opening there was NO damage to bike. As a 64 year old I thought I buy myself a mode of transport to help me get a bit fitter. Being enthusiastic I started to build the machine and having built several pieces of furniture from MFI and IKEA I thought this would be easy, even without any instructions available. Guess what ?? IT WAS. Didn't take long to build ( maybe a couple of hours at most ). However after several minutes of trying to secure the pedals on the wrong sides of the Bike ( there is a left hand threaded and and right hand threaded pedals, so don't mix them up ) I completed the build of the Bike. I did a last tightening of all bolts checked the front wheel was in line and put air in the tyres, made sure the seat didn't waddle about ,stud the bike on the stand ,walked round it felt rather pleased with myself. Now for the maiden voyage. Opened the garage door and after a couple of weeks of glorious weather, Guess what it was pouring !!!! So although I'm raring to go I don't want to get my new Bike WET !!! Up to now I have been pleased with the tracking and delivery of the Bike ,ease of build and the great quality or the product for the price I paid. All I have to do now is hope I don't fall of the Thing on my maiden journey !!

Bike OK but service could be better
Original bike did not turn up, it turns out that DHL Germany picked up bike but it was then lost or stolen. When the company found out they did dispatch a second bike but this all took time and many e mails.Putting the bike together took about 2 hours. The instructions do not cover how to fix the front lamp very tricky !

like it was made of paper
After less then one year of use both pedals and brakes were broken. The handle of one brake craked in two parts, just by using it, like it was made of paper.Don't buy this bike

Pessimo acquisto
