simple easy way to detect tampering
I picked up this set to detect if someone opened a toolbox on my trailer. it's a low-security method to keep honest people honest. I can easily look at the toolbox as I walk by to see if anyone has tried to get in. I don't keep anything of real value in there, but want to know before I tow a load, that my straps and accessories are still there without having to take inventory every time I use the trailer. These are perfect tags to help with that. the red color is easy to spot and since they have to be cut open, it's easy to see if someone has been inside. the 100-pack makes it easy and inexpensive to use for any area where you need to just secure enough to detect is someone has been in there. If I put a real lock on the toolbox, a thief is likely to cause more damage to steal a few tow straps, than If I just put the tag on.Much cheaper than a lock and if someone really wants the contents more than I do, they will not destroy the toolbox getting in.

Quality Tamper Seals for a Good Price
I purchased these tags to be used as tamper seal tags for my EMS drug bag and other equipment bags. These tags are numbered and of a good qualiy. You simply feed the end through what you want to seal and then pull it though the end of the tag to seal it. It can not be pulled back out. To remove it you have to pull on it to break it. You can clearly see that the item is sealed and you can record the number for further security. You can not beat the price for the quantity of these seals that you get.I would highly recommend these tamper seals for those in the market for them. You cant go wrong and will not be disappointed.

Work great, just like the pros use
I have several fire extinguishers both inside and outside of my house (near the grill and the deck) that I maintain and inspect on a regular basis. The extinguishers that I have outside get a lot of sunlight so the pull pin seal will get brittle and break on it's own. So I ordered these so that I can reseal the pull pin on all of my extinguishers as needed. Big bag of them, just snap one off, seal your extinguisher, and you're good to go! I also use them to attach my inspection tags to my extinguishers. Can't go wrong with these. A basic need for any extinguishers that need to be sealed against tampering and to keep the pull pin in place.

More than one use!
This is a great product for security and accountability. I personally use these for securing many things such as locks and luggage. It allows me to know when someone has accessed something they may not have had a reason to. The number allows me to take a photo and have proof of the access. For example holding your plane ticket next to the number when you take the control photo. The plus is that I used to use zip ties with my luggage so I would know when TSA accessed my bags. The issue was in the off chance they did not search my bags I would have to find something to break the zip ties. This product can be broken with just enough pull force or leverage.

Versatile item --I know I will find many uses for.
Fire extinguisher tags make perfect accessories for travelers. You can place them on many different items to make sure that they are closed and not tampered with. Since they are long (about 10 inches) I was able to use one tag several times. It requires little effort to break open but is strong enough to prevent accidental opening. The red color makes it easy to locate. They are adjustable, lightweight and require almost zero space in your suitcase, backpack or purse. It is a great value. I have 100 tags which will be enough for many uses. In addition they can be used on my current fire extinguisher, and for attaching padlock keys to padlock s when not in use..... This a versatile item I know I will find many uses for.

Great set of numbered Tamper-evident Seals
This is a high-quality set of tamper seals, useful for luggage, work chests, shed doors, fire extinguishers -- anyplace where you want to monitor usage. Very study, and with durable numbering on each. The numbering is required for any use where you need to really monitor tampering. They are heavy duty, and thicker than the seals I have on other fire extinguishers. I think I might use them for most things except the fire extinguishers, where I would need them to break with a quick weak pull. This set sometimes has required a hard pull to break, although other users have said they break easily. GREAT for traveling.

Lots of uses
These are great and there are lots of uses. I mostly wanted to add some level of security around electrical boxes but can also see where they could be handy for throwing on your luggage when traveling....I attached three of these so far. You can see where the "cable" portion starts to lighten due to the plastic bending some but none look close to breaking, so, don't see a problem with this. These aren't meant to keep an item from being opened, just indicate that it was.If it's important to folks, all the tags are sequentially numbered. I'm 100% satisfied.

Breaks with very little effort
I REALLY wanted these to be awesome, but once threaded, you can just pull semi-hard and it snaps. It makes sense, because it's for fire extinguishers. It proves that things have been tampered with. But it also has premade labels printed on it. So I guess they are limited to those purposes. Accidental break prevention and tamper sealing to show you've have your stuff messed with. I guess what I really was in the market for was zip ties. But I'll keep these since I realize their application!
