This small 8 oz silicone measuring cup works exactly the way I hoped that it would. I ordered it for melting small quantities of cosmetic Butters and waxes in the microwave to make test batches of lip balms and solid perfumes. When I'm tinkering around or trying a new recipe, I like to only make enough to make one or two tubes of lip balm or one or two pots of solid perfume, and this cup is just the right size. It's also squeezable, which makes it easy to pour into the tubes directly from the measuring cup, and not need a funnel or a pipette. I love that it's dishwasher safe! Probably going to order another one to use for melting butter in the microwave for cooking. Highly recommended!

The media could not be loaded.  I like that its flexible, and that its made of silicone making it a versatile kitchen accessory.I specifically got this to handle certain ingredients that tend to stick to the insides of the metal or plastic measuring cups - then requiring the use of a spatula to get it all out. Even with the use of a spatula, it will still leave portions of the ingredient behind in the corners of the cup.. What's the point of measuring out ingredients when not all of it make it to your dish?!With this accessory, ingredients like honey, chocolate, tahini, oil, etc. do a better job of transferring out of the measuring cup on its own, but a spatula is still needed to get all of it out - HOWEVER, the main point is, a spatula is far more effective with this silicone material and all you need is a single swipe inside it and its all out! Easy peazy. Also, the angled top make pouring marginally easier.In no way is this a required accessory - more of a nice to have.
