Stopped working after 2.5 months - no adequate replacement
I bought these in March on Amazon, because the color beige was sold out on the Jabra website. They worked well - at first. These are my first hearing aids and they in fact did improve my hearing pretty significantly. They have different settings that allow to adjust the hearing aids for different environments which does make a difference. However, it is very much annoying that they always default to the “Adaptive“ setting - the only setting that is pretty much useless. They work ok for listening to podcasts and audio books, they are entirely unsuitable for listening to music unless you like really bad sound quality. That was a limitation that I was ok with - these are hearing aids, not headphones. My left earbud stopped working about three weeks ago. I called customer service and after doing some tests they asked me to send them back and sent UPS shipping instructions. Up to this point I was pretty pleased with the process. Shipping took eight (8) days from my place to theirs - I was wondering if they maybe used the old Pony Express. After that no response for several days until I got an email that the beige hearing aids are not available at this moment. However, they could replace them with black. Now, a) I really don’t want black earbuds for aesthetic reasons and b) my husband also has Jabra Enhance Plus hearing aids - in black - and with two black sets we unavoidably will confuse them. However, I was told they could not give me an ETA when beige would be back in stock (the timeframe was described as “quite a while”). At this point, I can either wait for an undetermined timeframe for the beige to be back in stock at Jabra or I can get black. When I asked if I could get my money back so I could buy a new pair on Amazon (where beige is still available), I received several paragraphs of legalese as response. If you decide to get these hearing aids (which I would not recommend), at the very least get them from Jabra directly where you will get 100 days to return them whereas on Amazon you only get 30 days. If I had gotten mine from Jabra directly, at least I would be able to get my money back.

Great Performance for the Price
My partner and I each own a pair of Jabra Enhance Pro hearing aids. In general, we are happy with them and enjoy wearing them.I have partial hearing loss in one ear and my partner has significant hearing loss in one ear. We bought the Jabra hearing aids as a less expensive alternative to replace the $4500 hearing aids he owns. I wanted to find affordable OTC in-ear hearing aids that were rechargeable and at a reasonable price point. We bought both pairs when they were on sale at a significantly reduced price, making them almost one tenth the price of prescription hearing aids. The hearing aids work well and are easy to set up. They are compatible only with the iPhone. Sound quality is good and can be set to Focus, Adaptive, and Surround. The Surround setting transfers sound from the broadest area and can be a bit overwhelming. Focus picks up sound from a narrow area directly in front of the listener. And Adaptive is somewhere between Focus and Surround. Please note that the earbuds default to Surround when any device-connected app (Spotify or You Tube for example) is open. One of the advantages of the earbuds is that you can turn them off quickly with a double-tap to the left earbud. This basically converts the hearing aids into ear plugs in loud environments. The hearing aids are rechargeable and come with their own USB-C charging cable. My partner sometimes has trouble charging his, but my charger consistently charges both pairs. The charge generally lasts about 11 hours. You get three distinct warnings from the earbuds when power is low. The sound coming through the earbuds does sound a bit "processed", and not 100% like live sound. However, the sound does retain its directionality. These hearing aids are a good value and I would recommend they to anyone with mild to moderate hearing loss.

Good News - Bad News
GOOD NEWS:I already wear over-the-ear hearing as I have a diagnosis of moderate-to-severe hearing loss (combat in a war zone can be hard on your body's auditory system.) However, I wanted to try a device that fits in the ear canal and was easier to operate. Although the Java Enhanced Plus devices are advertised to be most effective for those with mild-to-medium hearing loss, I thought I would give them a try. They may seem expensive at $799.00 but that is much better than $6400.00 for professional devices. I ordered a set.Once received, I carefully set them up per the instructions provided, including the "App" that must be downloaded to your iPhone. It is a rather intense process but is relatively easily accomplished if you take your time, follow the instructions and are in a quiet environment where you will not be disturbed. The "App" also gives you a hearing test for each ear and automatically establishes a "profile" for you. Once this is established, you can still make any changes you desire for whatever environment you are in. Once you place them in the charger and take them out again, they automatically default to your "profile."These devices surprised me. The sound quality was quite good and, in some cases, better than my very expensive hearing aids. Once I became accustomed to the "tunnel" effect (I prefer the closed domes) and the sensation of having something in both ears, I liked them. I especially liked the music quality. They also have a nice, snug fit which decreases the fear of inadvertently losing one or both of them. The biggest surprise was that they actually functioned somewhat better than my very expensive devices, especially since I have a moderate-to-sever hearing lose.BAD NEWS:After using them for two days, one of the two devices failed to charge correctly. Also, their "Support Team" is difficult to get in touch with for assistance. Additionally, I had some difficulty setting up the bluetooth function so I returned them to Amazon. FYI: The return process for these devices is tedious... but it works.HOWEVER: I am planning to purchase another set of these OTC hearing aids to give them another chance. If the new ones function as well as the ones I returned (minus the issues, of course), I will live in hope that I may save $4000.00-$5000.00 should I need new devices in the future..CONCLUSION: I would definitely recommend these devices.
