This is a better quality leak hose. Some are very poor and spray and leak unevenly.This one even managed to work on a slope when usually the higher part gives out too little water.This one is good.

Having made the mistake of buying a cheaper product, which I have returned, I went for this one. What an improvement!It’s easy to install (I used some tent-peg-type pegs to anchor it), the connector is high-quality, and it easily connects to my hosepipe. Even with the low water pressure in our area, my runner beans got an efficient soaking.I note that one buyer reports the pipe becoming brittle after winter storage, and I will look out for that. But I am very pleased so far.

I have just bought and installed this after testing. I first uncoiled it and left it straightened out on the lawn. On testing with full mains tap pressure the hose leaked out uniformly well along its whole length, with an occasional very small jet here and there. The valve supplied at one end can reduce the flow if needed. I threaded it in loops around a bed of mixed shrubs and perennials. The hose bends easily so you can loop it back on itself within a foot or so to get more uniform coverage for watering. It was easy to hack out a shallow trench for it (I used one of those tiny Roughneck pickaxes) and secure it with garden staples. I noted that if you do get a kink during this process it is not easy to get it out completely, so I kept the hose on full water pressure while finally laying it. Then covered it with mulch, with occasional markers so I don't forget where it runs when I next stick a border spade or fork in. All went well and I will report back at the end of the summer........... November 2019: 2 hoses performed well during the year and I'm adding another two.

Really easy to use and setup. I connect this with a Gardena Select Irrigation Control timer and it works perfectly. The water sips out quite evenly along the 15m hose. I have a slight elevation in my patch but have not noticed any bias as a result of the incline due to gravity. I recommend this product for people who likes to avoid just spraying water on soil and wants to a achieve a more control, water saving irrigation.

I was surprised when I found this gardena soaker hose. I had brought a number of these hoses in the past and all were very poor .When I saw this one I thought that. I must give it a go as I have a very large border and I had spent a considerable sum of money on plants and bags of pebbles to try and keep it damp. when the parcel arrived my Husband said this is the same as you have had before and was no good ,Then he saw that it was a gardena and said I suppose it is with a try.I laid it on the border the other day and the first thing I found it was a lot more flexible and would take the bends much more readily.when I turned. it on and what a surprise to find that it was certainly putting more water through so I thought that it must have a lot more Holes than other makes .Yes they might be dearer than other makes but it is worth it in the long run.

Brilliant! We have the Gardena auto watering system but couldn't solve how to water our 2m x 1 m veg bed. This solved the problem in minutes. It attaches easily to the Gardena joints and stays firmly in place. With old tent pegs rejected from our camping kit we wove it around the bed numerous times placing it just under the soil. Switched on the water and first class, total success. Arrived as expected, great value for money and ranked as one of our best buys!

hose split and fell apart after 2 months use. Amazon website directed me to Gardena directly for the product support and 5 year warranty. Contacted Gardena, tried by phone and no answer, tried by email and sent photos etc. they replied saying it "looks likes your water pressure is too high" so must have caused the damage. Now im not sure how you can tell that from the picture and considering our water pressure is low here at approx 0.5 bar that would not be considered high at all. It fell apart when picking it up from the flower bed after 2 months use so it didnt freeze over the winter.Gardena pushed me back to Amazon saying its not their responsibility to refund or replace even though the advert says "Scope of delivery includes: One Gardena soaker hose (15 m), one fittings set, 5 years Gardena warranty, made in Germany". Literally no warranty on this fragile product. Wont be buying any Gardena products again after this experience.

I bought the hose in January to be ready for the summer. We installed the hose, turned it on, and within days, my husband was making repairs. We've been trying to eke it out for the summer with a view to buying a different brand hose next year - in order to do that, we've been repairing splits, ends falling off, and other assorted breaks every 10 days or so. THE WORST HOSE I'VE EVER BOUGHT. Apparently, the Germans have now adopted the "cheap Chinese crap" approach to manufacturing.

Waren uns nicht sicher ob Tropfschlauch oder Sprühschlauch . Der Sprühschlauch spritzt das Wasser überall hin und deswegen ein Tropfschlauch sind echt begeistert wie punktgenau der bewässert haben schon ein zweiten bestellt und werden nach und nach alles umstellen.

Gardena set werkt goed, onderdelen prima te verlengen of te verkorten naar wens met gebruik van gardena koppelstukken. Wel eens ander goedkoop merk gekocht bij de Action, maar dat materiaal sluit niet goed aan op elkaar, materiaal is broos, verstopt snel bij de druppelopeningen en materiaal red het nog geen winter. Bij gardena heb je deze problemen niet.
