Clif Bar Clif Shot Energy Gel-Chocolate-1PC 34g

I bought these energy gels because I read that a vegan Ironman champion uses them for his practice. Since I am vegan and also a long distance runner, I though I should give them a try. I had already tried most energy gels, some of which were very good, but their taste was like drinking medicine. Clif gels taste great, probably because of the organic synthesis and they keep my energy levels high for a long time. I am definitely going to buy them again and I strongly recommend them to every long distance runner.

Got these gels when starting running and actually sow a difference in my performance. Don't expect to succeed a world record but it definitely adds to your training.

I bought this product a while back and got, as expected, a box of 24 shot gels. After we ran out of them, wife reordered them from her account (we share a prime account), and got, *for £21*, ONE SINGLE GEL PACKET.One gel packet retails for £1.50. A box of 24 retails for £25-£30. Amazon sent us one packet for £21!While she went on the phone to Amazon to return it, I came here to check product details. Turns out the description, quite cleverly, never says whether the product is one-gel or one box of gels. The product dimensions section gives the dimensions of a box, and the weight of a box. But at other places, it also says just 34g. So, there's no reasonable way of confirming (or later confronting) to say that what you paid for was a box of 24 gels, and not 1 single gel.(The same product - box set of 24 gels - is available, at comparable prices, on Amazon. We went for this one because of prime delivery)Frankly, never expected this sort of unclear description (false advertising??) from Amazon. My first instinct was, in fact, that it must be a 3rd party seller bait-and-switching buyers, with Amazon only fulfilling. Sadly, it didn't turn out to be the case. Sold & fulfilled by Amazon. Sad.

The description for this product does not say how many items it contains. The weight (900g), box dimensions and price in the product description are consistent with a box of 24 gels as sold by other vendors. The package delivered contains one gel, at a weight of 34g, for the price of 24.

Ordered what I thought were 4 gels as they say 'a picture paints a thousand words'. The order is for one chocolate flavoured gel - silly me should have read the small print more closely. Very disappointing and feel a little mislead.
