Very good
The liner and underlay arrived very quickly and good job as my old pond was leaking badly. The packaging was fine but (and this is not the sellers idea) both the delivery driver and myself had to laugh as it stated on the package instructions for the driver that this can be posted! Not sure what size letter box they think I have. However compared to liners from general DIY stores this liner is far more flexible and tougher and as you lay it down you dont get those impossible to fold creases. Of course there are some folds when you lay it depending on the shape of your pond but they all fold in neatly and don't look like they will split after a bit of wear. Considering you get a free underlay for the price this is a great purchase and would highly recommend.

Fantastic service and value for money
Ordered this about 1pm Thursday and it arrived before midday the next day. Liner in place and pond filled by 4pm! Job done! What fantastic service. The liner looks good and strong and with the free underlay it's great value for money. We used a similar type of liner in a big pond at our previous property and it was still looking good and working well when we moved 14 years later. So we can feel quite confident that this one will last as well.

Pond Liner
Arrived within 48 hours of ordering. Liner and underlay appear to be good quality. Not yet fitted yet as pond site not completed. Used this type of product before. Prefer it to a preformed rigid liner as it gives you more flexibility over pond layout and is easier on your back than a rigid liner. In a previous pond I used old carpet as underlay and it was very effective but the underlay which is included with the liner makes the product good value but I may still use some carpet as extra protection against stone.Regards DBSUnderlay is more for weed control and so strongly reccomend using old carpet instead for more stone protection.Regards DBS

Used to cover a summerhouse roof
I have a two year old summerhouse with an angled pentagon roof which is split on the diagonal and slopes away to two sides where there are gutters. I wasn't happy with the thin tongue and groove roof which had developed a few gaps when the wood fully dried and the felt needed replacing. So decided to remove the nailed on felt and cut an additional roof from water resistant board. Then thought I'd experiment and use this pond liner to cover it.I first caulked any gaps between the new roof boards and tacked down the free underlay using a staple gun. The liner was then cut to approximate size and positioned on the roof, held by large stones and left overnight for the creases to flatten. The liner was removed and I cut strips the length of the two sides to act as skirts and take rainwater directly into the gutters. These were held in position using a spray adhesive from Amazon. The liner was then placed back on the roof and spray adhesive was again used to hold the liner in position along the edges. This allowed me to lift and stretch the liner to remove any creases before trimming the liner to size. Finally I used the staple gun to fix the liner on the front edges before fitting the weatherboards and used some stainless steel UPVC nails from Wickes to tack the liner on the gutter edge skirts. The nails were chosen as they won't rust and they grip strongly. It's still too early to properly assess the result but it appears to be working fine with no perceptive shrinkage. The liner is not stuck down to the roof and I have noticed the wind suck it up slightly, so I may stick it down eventually, but it's an interesting experiment so far.Even my wife, who was reluctant at first to have a black roof on the summerhouse, likes the appearance.

Great value for money!
Used this to replace a preformed pond liner I'd had for many years, it's easy to fold and work with but I had way too much for the size of my pond which I wasn't bothered about as the price was better than anywhere else, I haven't had any sort of leak so far to the guarantee is holding up. Also came with a magazine which is great for if you need ideas for designing the features of your pond

and not as sturdy as the liners we usually use
Not thrilled with this product. This is our third pond, but this liner clearly had a leak somewhere, despite the pond being lined with sand and soft material, and no sharp stones anywhere. It was much thinner than I expected, and not as sturdy as the liners we usually use. We had to empty the pond and replace the liner after just a couple of months use

pond liner
The delivery was fast and well packed. The liner was as described. It was a little stiff to fold into shape but not as difficult as the thicker butyl liner I used before. It was easy to cut. The liner was generous in size and covered the area twice. The pond is only just finished so I can't comment on how long it lasts but it is not leaking so far! This liner was exceptionally cheap compared with others and is good value.

pond liner + underlay
Pond liner has been in for over a year now and it's doing its job. Now 2 years and no problems... Now 6 years and still doing its job! The material is lightweight and does not stretch (it's a fibre reinforced plastic a bit like a tough ground sheet/ tarpaulin) so you have to work quite hard to lay it nicely and sort out the folds. We had not done a pond before so we have tried a few different approaches to burying the edge and covering the liner -this is worth thinking about before you start but may well end up with a certain amount of trial and error.
