Frighteningly moreish
I read the reviews that were talking about lots of broken bits that got me a little bit worried but they looked so good I decided to order them and I’m so glad I did because the box I received contained one well packed tub, which survived transit very well -granted there are a few broken bits, but most of them are actually whole and as one reviewer mentioned, they are much bigger than normal pretzels anyway, the sourdough adds a fantastic bread like quality, it really melts in your mouth These are so good that I have finished almost half the tub in 11 days which is doing my thighs no favors!! I had read reviews that people complained about the short date so I had a look at the date on my tub, and indeed, it is only good until the start of the year which only gives me two more months to finish the tub and that got me slightly worried until I realized that I’ll be lucky if the tub was still with me in two weeks never mind two months!!!!! BUY BUY BUY!!!!

Nice Pretzels
First of all, this "jar" is huge, and it's plastic, so, if like me you saw the photos and you expected a small glass jar of tightly packed small pretzels you will be wrong (I know it has dimensions on the page, but not everyone sees that). Each pretzel is about 7.5cm in length, so I eat them more like a biscuit than a crisp (like you would with smaller pretzels), which is actually nice as you can track your portions much easier this way.The pretzels taste nice, they are crunchy, most of them have a good balance of salt on them so if you are worried about little salt then rest assured they are mostly well balanced, but like most bags of pretzels, some will vary and will be lightly or heavily salted (but hey, those can also be nice now and then).Had the jar for about 3 weeks and they are still fresh and crispy like new, don't know how long it will last, but no signs of degrading yet. I could see it lasting for months, easily... if I don't finish it by then. Will probably be buying some more in the future. There is some nutritional for 100g, which is 371 calories and mainly carbs, which seems to be lower than a similar pack of crisps. Unfortunately no estimation per pretzel, and I can't weigh them to find out.

Delicious with a cold beer.
Purchased for all the family and friends to chomp on during World Cup season, but they were so addictive no one could keep their mitts off them and they were lucky if they lasted a fortnight. That said, if you’re thinking of getting these as an occasional treat for one or a small family, then they’ll no doubt last for months, as it is a mahoosive sized plastic tub!! – with peel-off lid, which I find much more convenient than screw-top. The pretzels are fairly large-ish, and really crisp and fresh tasting, but they’re also pretty salty, which makes them the perfect accompaniment to an ice-cold beer or cider. For an extra treat I like dipping the pretzels in some good quality melted chocolate (or even Nutella?), it makes for a great sweet n’ salty snack. I’ve even made use of the empty tub by filling it with fun-size chocolate bars/sweets and use as a treat jar for when my nieces and nephews visit.I’ll definitely be reordering around the Christmas season, as they’re a hit with everyone and really gvfm. Purchased in May 2018 with a BBD of September 2018.

Delicious - well worth the money
After getting frustrated with the terrible quality of supermarket pretzels, I decided to take the chance on these. As mentioned in all the previous reviews, the container is comically huge. But quite frankly, I rather like looking at and admiring it's majestic size and beauty. The pretzels themselves are, I'm delighted to report, delicious and what I expect a salted pretzel to be. The dark colour, the full crunch and of course the flavour.I took great delight in discarding the remnants of the shameful bag of supermarket pretzels I had tortured myself through eating upon tasting the first of these handsome treats.Yes it's quite expensive for a snack treat, but if you like pretzels and have been disappointed by inferior quality produce in the past, these will not let you down. The picture gives you and idea of scale against the Lego Viking, She can protect them, but only so much! For reference, I purchased these in December and they have arrived with a best before date of April 2017.

Changing Delivery Promises
the delivery was one day later than promised without a timely explanation it was going to be late. Then when an explanation came through it was for delivery on the 13th of August, yet it came today. so this kind of communication is not all bad, but it is best, fair. otherwise, value and size and seal were fine.
