Very strong and secure
I bought this to secure the bikes in my shed, it's reasonably easy to instal (if you have a good drill and bit).I've seen it reviewed as one of the strongest and most secure ground anchors on the market, and I agree completely. It is attached to the floor with 4 rawlbolts with allen key heads, these then have ball bearings installed in them to prevent them being undone and then plugs are hammered in to completely seal the whole thing. There is room for 2 or 3 security chains or locks to fit through it.When a good lock and chain is used with it I can't imagine how anyone could defeat this, just make sure you instal it where it will never need to be moved.

Sturdy
Perfect for chaining my Harley down! Reduced my insurance premium too. Easy to drill in and thread chain and lock through.

Solid product.
Great product. Doesn't come with a drill bit though and that size is not always readily available. I have read other reviews saying the drill size quoted was wrong. I didn't find that, but if its a cheap drill bit, then the concrete will grind it down quickly and that could be the problem.

Does the job.
Let’s be honest, if someone really wants your bike, they’ll get it, no two ways about it.Sure there’s anchors and chains out there that can withstand a hell of a harder beating and Oxford products do tend to get a bit of a bad name, but from an insurance point of view, it’s got Gold and that’s what the insurance companies look for. It’s better than no security at all.So the unit itself. It’s heavy, seems really robust. The double bracket feature makes sense and it’s a nice simple piece of kit. Takes about 20 minutes tops to instal.I have seen some reviews bashing the quality of the finish. It’s a £60-£70 item, it’s not going to win any beauty awards for how the welds look so that’s just seems like moaning for the sake of moaning.I’ve also read reviews of the unit coming loose when you hammer the ball bearings and plugs into place. This is easy to avoid by using Viper Xtrem or another similar product (it’s like a chemical cement)Make sure the holes are clean and dust free after you’ve drilled them, fill each hole right up with this stuff and then insert the expanding plugs and bolts. Tighten them down to the specified torque and then leave the chemical cement to go off (usually and hour or two)THEN you can hammer your ball bearings and plugs in place and it will not go anywhere...it’s absolutely rock solid!!!

Make sure you have good tools
It's a well made basic ground anchor. It does help to have a decent hammer drill as the holes drilled into the concrete need to be accurately placed. That being said, it went together without any problems and all parts fitted well. Good product

Serious stuff
This is a pretty serious lump of metal. The lady at the post office seemed to think I had aggrieved her when I asked for my parcel. I now sleep soundly in my bed knowing my bike is chained to this.Remember to buy an equally serious chain.

Product is an A
Product is great. Only issue was a 12 and 16 mm hammer drill bit requirement, I had to buy them on eBay as they aren’t available at Home Depot/Lowe’s in the US which delayed the install. The instructions are scarce but plenty of online help available via YouTube. Install start to finish took about 2 hours going slow and double checking. The anchors require a bit of coaxing to get into place, but overall not bad, 16mm is the right size bit. Once finished the product is extremely solid and has room to slip a few large chains through to tie up several items.

Incredibly Secure
Very. Heavy. Duty. Do yourself a favor and buy two drill bits. The drill bits take a beating putting in these bolts. You don't have to have a torque wrench, but if you're going to all this trouble, you may as well do it correctly and torque the bolts to the indicated specifications.
