This bottle kit is absolutely brilliant!Took a while to fathom what goes where and making sure everything that COULD be threaded on was in place BEFORE I started wiring. A couple times I had to back track as I'd forgot bits. It needs to be built backwards if that makes sense.It looks very professional and nothing like a home made effort. Who knew I could be so clever? Yay me!May have been cheaper to buy a ready made lamp from Homebase, but I made THIS one which just makes me love it more 🤗

This is great and exactly what you need to make a professional looking table lamp from any old bottle . I would suggest though that you measure the bottle spout , measure again and measure a finalTime to make sure that you order the correct size . I didn’t so had to implement a workaround ( an old bike inner tube cut into strips) . The after sales service is spot on too.As a tip - use a vernier gauge if you have one to measure the bottle size , although I did and still ordered the wrong one

So, I never leave reviews on Amazon, but this kit really did warrant one.Firstly, I need you to know that I am the least creative person ever, and I’ve got no patience for making fiddly things myself, however I had kept this gorgeous tequila bottle for ages and had no idea what to do with it when I started to search for ideas and settled on making a lamp.This kit was incredibly easy in making that idea a reality!The instructions are really quite poor, however I watched a quick YouTube video and got it right first time. I was absolutely amazed when the lamp turned on!Thoroughly enjoyable experience creating something so beautiful myself and I’ll 100% be ordering more kits in the future, my whole family have commented on this and it’s a wonderful conversation starter, so it will be lamps all round next Christmas!The only problem I’ve faced is nobody believes I actually made it, haha!!Thank you guys :)

Very happy with this product. I purchased two of them to modify a couple of Absolut bottles into lamps for my wife.The kit works perfectly and is of very good quality!I did get a little confused about the mounting of the bayonet fitting for the bulb. I had it at the wrong orientation so, the bulb wouldn’t work.There is two indentations in the fitting. They locate into indentations on the electrical fitting for the Bayonet.It’s self explanatory, if you look at it. I just got a little over confident. It was an easy fix!My wife is very impressed with how the first lamp has turned out.For the price, it’s well worth giving this a go. All you need is a decent glass cutting bit and this kit - sorted 👍

So happy with this kit, it’s made the champagne bottle we kept after our engagement 13 years ago into a focal piece in our living room!Make sure you follow the alignment instructions which comes with the kit though, as initially we thought it didn’t work! Great communication from the seller to resolve the issue for us... in future, we will read the instructions properly!

Used it to make a lamp out of a Kraken Rum bottle and it turned out perfect. I’m not a crafter but the final product looks like I know what the hell I’m doing. The hardest bit is drilling a hole in the bottle to feed the wire through and to do this you’ll need a ceramic drill bit. As long as you go steady with that the rest is easy.

Reasonably easy to fit, just a bit fiddly to get the grommet in place and get the cable to the right length within the bottle, otherwise the instructions were straightforward and I'm happy with the finished product which was a special gin bottle.

First of all I will say that I am in no way a qualified electrician or DIY person.With that out of the way, I managed to successfully make a lamp with this kit.You will need to grab yourself a variable speed drill and some glass/tile drilling bits. I ordered a pack of those separately as you will need a 10mm bit for the hole drill. which is not supplied.PRACTICE on a bottle when drilling a hole as it is the hardest part of the process. A tip is to have a source of water run over where you are drilling to prevent the glass and bit from getting to hot.The cable stopper at the back did not seem to fit all the way in after I drilled a hole. It is possible that I just needed more force but I didn't want to risk breaking the bottle, a small amount of super glue did the trick however.The included instructions are somewhat easy to understand after I googled which cable was the live and ground wire and some terminology.Overall I am quite pleased with my new bedside feature. I will definitely buy another kit or 2 in the future as these would make great gifts.
