Amazon BasicsAir Purifier for Home Bedroom (48m²) with True HEPA Acivated Air Filter & Intelligent Air quality sensor, UK plug, White

I wanted cleaner air at home but I am only interested in a filter and a fan, basic. What I ended up with is a really great machine telling me the room temp, humidity and current air quality. It has lots of speed settings, including night mode and automatic. I like the casters making the unit easy to move. I was impressed with the safety switches meaning that the grills must be fitted to enable the machine to operate. Long and replaceable power cable. Easy touch panel operation. Only down side is filter replacement costs.

This air purifier works very well, I’ve bought 4 of them for myself and to give as presents. But the replacement filters are expensive and never seem to be in stock at Amazon (it’s an Amazon product!).The only other criticism I can make is that it is not possible to switch the power off and on and have it start up without pressing the power button - it makes remote ‘smart’ control impossible.

My husband developed cat allergies after COVID and we wanted to try different options in controlling it before taking drastic measures. I bought 4 different air purifiers for our house and this one is as good as more expensive brands. It has 2 filters , it’s much larger than Levoit air purifier and on high speed it does make a noise. But it covers large area so it makes sense the motor is powerful and loud so we keep this one in the living room area which is connected with kitchen as an open space. So this one is good enough to clear the air of cat dander and as a bonus gets rid of any cooking smell and other unpleasant odours.I’m quite happy with it

Before buying check if you would be able to buy replacement filters. I’m trying to buy one last 3 months and no luck :(

Edit - Updating to 1 star as there are no replacement filters.It's quite amazing to me that Amazon are even still selling this item, with their branding no less, when there appears to be absolutely no way to support it.When I saw the bad reviews upon purchasing almost a year ago I just assumed there was some kind of supply hiccup that would be long since resolved when I need to replace filter, so I periodically check in at least once a month to see if the filters are available to grab a few.Almost 10 months later, I am yet to see those filters ever be available, and there seems to be no information at all regarding possible substitutes or anything.This is actually a rip-off, the item is useless without the ability to change the filter.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Great unit, I bought it mostly for my health and to see if it would help my dogs skin condition.Whilst I can't speak to either of those, I can say that my house generally feels fresher and also dust has become virtually non-existent. Normally I dust the black glass TV stand and within a couple of weeks you can start to see it form again, just purely for the sake of science I haven't dusted that TV stand for 3 months and there's only the thinnest smattering of dust on there.Very impressed.

A lot bigger than I had imagined but great, thank you Amazon. I managed to find a place for it to stand.My house is a 16th century inn, so I need the purifier, to get rid of musty smells. I have placed it by the top of the stairs down to the cellars. Works nicely, left on the sleep setting. Bit noisy on any other setting. Will test the faster settings when cooking in the adjacent kitchen. Best of all, on low settings, it only draws 22 watts of power. On Turbo, it still only uses 111 watts, so going to be economical to run. Bought spare filters at same time, to save money long term. This purifier uses two filters, one each side. Note one has to remove the plastic covering from these before use. Overall bargain!

Seems quite good quality, bigger than I thought but still very good, quite high speeds, and easy to chamge settings. Shows humidity , temperature, filter duration, air is good or not circle light colour changes, smells in the air dispersed quite fast even on a low setting. Great night setting quiet and works perfectly.For the price compared to the bigger brands in the market i believe to be the best price for what you get.Could improve by having the uv light inside like other brands have but other wise great purchase.

If you're looking for an airborne dust clearer for a workshop in the UK, good luck! OK, you can buy them on Amazon, but what about replacement filters? None! But the Amazon Basics Air Purifier is basically the same thing, and you can get replacement filters! No brainer. It stands on the floor and you can push it around and it filters the air. What's not to like? And as we don't sleep in the workshop, I can't answer for sleep mode, so only gave that one star because I don't know. Be warned, it is big - a cubit across corners - and worktop tall, and intended for a room twice the size of the workshop, but we bought it to clear the air quickly, and it does. In auto mode it even detects burnt toast from the kitchen!

Se trata de un filtro para purificador ed aire. Es un buen reemplazo para el filtro que llevan algunos purificadores.En este caso, si que parece que tiene filtro HEPA, que otras veces he visto pero he tenido dudas si realmente lo tenian por el precio de otros articulos.

Mise en fonction avec un système à air (gros ventilateur). Le produit retient bien les poussières et filtre correctement l'air. Répond correctement au besoin

¿Quién no ha mirado el precio de los filtros antes de decidirse a comprar el purificador? Hablamos de que el porcentaje de este filtro ronda la quinta parte del valor total del propio purificador a día de esta revisión (25€), no está nada mal la proporción.En cualquier caso este filtro HEPA de tres etapas es el único modelo que podemos encontrar para su purificador de 12m², he mirado por todos lados y en principio no nos queda otra que asumirlo, es un filtro propietario para este modelo de Amazon Basics.Por otro lado, no cabe duda de que la calidad de este filtro de tres etapas está sobradamente justificada por su filtrado de partículas de hasta 0,3 micras, y como cualquier otro filtro similar, polen, polvo, olores...éste último, los olores, con una eficacia abrumadora en ambientes cargados o incluso con olor a tabaco, así que imaginaros el resto, una pasada.En definitiva, comparado con otras propuestas de filtros de 12m², su precio llega a ser muy razonable.
