Architectural ruler
Works real good it's easier to read 3/16 and 3/32 off the ruler than off your tape measure

Best way to read
O used this type of ruler for my work and is difficult sometimes reading the number on the white ones. This one is really easier for me to see the numbers

This was a great deal of a quality product. I would buy these again, but I don’t think I’ll have to because the last for quite a while, unless somebody steals them.

Great value!
As a professional engineer with a daughter welder, when these 12-inch rules appeared in my Vine listing, I had to order them. We can never have enough! As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I am offered new-to-market products, if I want them, at no cost to me, in exchange for an honest, objective, and comprehensive review..At $10 for 5 stainless steel rules, this is a deal you shouldn’t turn down if you need some measuring equipment. Each comes in a plastic sheath (though not durable enough for a workshop) and has a handy hole for hanging on a pegboard or nail. The etched and painted graduations on the front face are clear and well executed - down to 0.5mm or 32nds and 64ths of an inch. They should be durable in use. The number font reminds me of some very old 6-inch rules I own. I love the rear face with the conversion tables. A nice touch and very handy!.The steel is hardened and you can bend it and not get a permanent set on release. However, don’t bend it so the ends are closer than about 6 or 7 inches to each other, or you will see a permanent, slight bend in the steel. Time will tell how stainless these are, but I did soak the end of one rule in a 5% salt solution, then let it air dry overnight and re-soaked it. After a couple cycles, there was evidence of some rust spots developing, but not too bad. Some damp wire wool cleans it up. Just don’t leave these damp. For added protection, I suggest wiping them with some oil if in a workshop..This is predominantly designed for use as a metric rule. Metric is on the upper edge. Imperial is on the lower edge, but unfortunately not reversed. So, you will have to place the rule above the line/item you are measuring to determine the length in inches. 1 Star lost! ☹.CONCLUSION:.At $2 each, these rules are great value, even if the design is not optimal for Imperial measurements. Perfect though as a potentially “disposable” rule for welding layouts or many, many years in the office.

Exactly What I Wanted
Kids needed rulers for school. Figured a couple extra on hand wouldn't hurt too. Each ruler came in it's own plastic protective sleeve. The kids were excited to see the conversion formulas on the backside of the rulers too (we've got some engineers and artists in the house). I did NOT use the calipers to check the accuracy though. Probably should do that...
