Granular Shock Chlorine (Calcium Hypochlorite) for regular use in swimming pool water. Once a fortnight, or more frequently in hot weather, add 110g per 10m³ of water to shock treat your pool and eliminate bacteria and algal growths. Particularly effective if pool water has been neglegted, algal growths have appeared on the floor or walls of the pool or in cases of very high bather load. WARNING! ON NO ACCOUNT SHOULD THIS PRODUCT BE MIXED WITH OTHER CHLORINES IN USE OR ADDED TO THE POOL VIA THE FEEDER OR SKIMMER CONTAINING OTHER CHLORINE PRODUCTS. Works like magic!
I had problems with discolouration of my garden pm water feature and lack of water clarity . Treatment with solution made from the granules has solved all my problems. It was much cheaper than buying a specialist kit from the water feature supplier - need to be careful however to guard against splashes of the solution getting onto skin or into the eyes.
