It arrived super quick. Unfortunately it is not the taste that I am used to. I though poppy seeds taste pretty much the same but clearly not. This tastes stange compared to the Hungarian one I am used to. It also has a slight sting to it which in my experience is the indication that it is a bit old and not been stored in a cool, dry place. Others might like this but I was expecting the taste I am used to. I will use it sprinkled on bakes. It came as 2x1kg bags, it will last me a while. This is a produce of Holland.

If you want culinary poppy seeds, these are the ones
Just to be clear, you get 2 packs of poppy seeds, 1 kilo each pack. Amazon's description is misleading. Very well packaged in strong plastic bags, delivered abroad no problem. Definitely recommend.

Excellent Value
I am using my poppy seeds in multiseed homemade bread. The flavour is as expected, certainly not unusual like another reviewer commented. The 2 x 1kg bags are excellent value.However, my order arrived mis-packed; so I got a 1kg bag of poppy seeds and a bag of mustard seeds. Amazon were very good and refunded my money!
