Yes it should. My one is on a travel cot.

How do I get the toys to spin?

There is button on the top which you move. Once to make toys spin with music, twice to spin without music.

Can you turn off the music but still have the mobile turning?

Yes. There are three settings. Off, music and turning and then just turning without music. It’s great my little one loves it and the mobile bit detached so you could put it on a buggy
