Bad audio lag, not loud at all, cheap audio quality
So here's my situation: our TV is far from our bed and we have to turn up the TV too loud to hear it (wakes the kids), so I decided to put a bluetooth transmitter on the TV and put a speaker by the bed so we can hear without having to turn it up so loud. So I bought the Avantree Priva II (a bluetooth transmitter), which has the aptX codec for low latency. Low latency is important to me because it drives me nuts when the sound lags the video. I originally bought the Sony XB20 speaker. It sounds amazing, the only issue is that it doesn't support aptX so there is a ~250ms delay in the audio which is very annoying. So I searched and found this speaker which *supposedly* supports aptX. The reviews say it sounded great, so I figured this should solve my problems - nope!It paired up with my Priva II no problem, but the audio delay seems even WORSE than the Sony speaker. This thing is supposed to support the "low latency" aptX codec, and the Sony doesn't - so why does the Sony have less lag than this thing? Not only that, this thing is super quiet! I turned it all the way up until it BEEPED at me (at least the beep is loud - and abrasive), but I can still barely hear it. The reviews say this thing is loud and will fill the room, but my cell phone is literally louder than this thing. What gives? When I switch back to my Sony speaker, it can get loud as heck. But this thing will not get loud enough to hear over my box fan. Useless. If I'm doing something wrong, please let me know. Maybe there's something else I have to do to enable aptX? Or maybe enable it to get loud enough to actually hear it? Returning...

Good sound lightweight portable for sure.
good sound quality, loud, lightweight portable speaker unit is awesome. power connection did not last long. within a month it came apart to the point the unit had to be turned upside down for the charge to take.

Mode button call out!
The mode button on my unit only beeps when swithching modes; I bought this for a blind man because I thought it called out the mode that it is in. ie "blue tooth mode", "music mode", "radio mode" .UPDATE 2-3-2018: was able to get a flash update to get back the voice prompt. this works perfect for my brother who is a blind man. My brother couldn't be happier with how well this speaker works.

no support and faulty design
Radio stations do not get remembered. Volume for radio does not get remembered. Every time someone accidentally presses "mode" button, radio switches on with loud static. It scared my child more than once.Support is not answering. Most likely will be returning the item.
