OK but not stainless steel
They aren't stainless steel. Not sure what they are, but definitely not stainless steel. I'd give them a one star for that reason, but I didn't buy them for a cooking surface, but as a coal support in a new smoker that for some reason didn't come with any. After about 3 months, they've held up really well. They are pretty lightweight and I'm not sure how well they'll hold up long term (although more sturdy than what I had in my last smoker for the coal support), but so far they work for my purposes.

The description of this product states that it is stainless steel, but in fact it is a coated carbon steel which will rust
