I have not gotten a guy to put this together yet, Early April 2025 and still snow, but this is one heavy box! Posts will not be going anywhere! Just what I need.

The hardward that I received was larger than the 3.5x3.5 standard 4x4 posts. I bought the VEVOR hardware and they fit snuggly. I do not care for the phillips head screws. The Vevor kits came with hex head with soft washers. Much nicer fit than this kit. Note that the pieces in this kit are well constructed.

They work great and very strong and easy to install

Ease of use amd my door will sit on a 4x4 instead of the ground.

As others have said, the fit is very sloppy. I get that wood varies, but not THAT much. I've bought 4x4 bases for building a railing from amazon from another supplier and they were very snug (took a mallet to install one) but they feel VERY sturdy as a result. I'm likely going to keep these but I'm having to 3d print shims to make up the gaps.

Would work amazing for a pergola but I used to build a chicken run and it turned out exactly how I wanted and made the entire thing easy to build and sturdy. Love these brackets!

I think these are great quality and designed just like the ones that cost five times as much. They even have gadgets with holes through it to mount a sunshade or anything else you would want. The pre-drilled, mounting holes and square sockets, made it easy to assemble.
