Cressi's sizing chart doesn't match their wetsuits.
Cressi seems to have a problem matching their suits with the size chart. I'm an XL in pretty much everything and would be according to their size chart. Based on many of the reviews I read, I decided to go up to a XXL. When it arrived, I did manage to get into it but it was incredibly tight everywhere, and not long enough in the torso. Certainly not my first wetsuit but way off on fit. Had no choice but to send it back.

WRONG ITEM DELIVERED
I ordered a like new Cressi men's Playa Flex XXL shorty wetsuit, which consists of 3mm/2mm neoprene and is very nicely designed. What I received was a Cressi men's Lido shorty wetsuit, which is only 2mm neoprene. I wanted the Playa Flex for several reasons. Very frustrating.

Get It Off Quickly
Read all the reviews about sizing and difficulty getting it off and decided to give it a try anyway for swimming laps in a cool pool. Got a size bigger than the chart indicated for my weight and it arrived within 36 hours. Got it on easily and it fit snugly, the way a wetsuit's supposed to. When I got in the pool and started swimming, at first I was floating on top of the water but as the suit let in some water I swam (all four strokes + sidestroke) and turned just as normal. No constriction or rubbing, and while it regularly let in a little water (again, as it's supposed to) I was perfectly warm at the end of my 45 minute swim.Trying to get it off, though, was almost as hard as the workout. While I'm in my 70s, I do yoga and swim daily so I'm pretty limber, but getting both shoulders off was a bear. Once I finally got that accomplished, there was a little hold up at the elbows, but it was OK. Reached out to other buyers and got suggestions like getting a bigger size (since it fit perfectly I really didn't want to do that) pulling it off with a back scratcher (was afraid that could rip it) and using baby oil on the shoulders (wasn't sure what that would do over time to the wetsuit material). Then someone suggested putting on an Under Armour type shirt underneath. I had a short sleeve sun shirt lying around and tried it this morning. Worked like a charm! Slid much more easily over the shoulders and I was out of the suit in less than a minute rather than the 4-5 minutes previously.I had watched a lot of videos and talked to my surfing sun-in-law who recently got a front zip (zips across the chest) wetsuit, and realized that front zip suits in general are notoriously difficult to get out of, so there's nothing uniquely wrong with this suit, it's just the nature of the beast. So when you order the suit just plan to plunk down $15 or so for a sun shirt and you'll be fine. And since the company doesn't seem eager to change its size chart, order a size larger (or two?) than your indicated weight and enjoy! (I'm 5'10" and 155 lb, and got a Large)
