This project is a 3DOF controller based on the Google Daydream headset's standard reference. Its main function is to obtain the pose information of the users hand with 3 degrees of freedom. The information is transmitted via BLE and is designed with VR/AR interactions in mind. The controller consists of a 6-axis gyroscope and accelerometer. The upper section of the controller comprises a touch panel (motor-less), two keys (a return key and Home key) whilst the lower section is the area where 3A batteries are inserted. The front of the controller will comprise an LED indicator.A trigger is also located on the upper half lower section of the controller.The Touchpad is the only separate module and it is connected to the main board and IMU via the FPC line.TheTouch pad does not have any tactile feedback. Works well, but volume would be nice.
This works adequately to give my Android (LG V35 ThinQ) Google Daydream capability. It's the only Daydream remote I found shippable with Prime. But it doesn't have volume controls, which would be very nice. Paired it with the Aoguerbe headset. Minus 2 stars for the lack of volume control and relatively high price. I would think it would be $20 max without all the functions of a legit Google Daydream controller.

After 90day Review! ☀️
This was bought for my son to use on his Google Pixel, worked well with the Daydream App. Good quality, I wait 90days before I enter reviews so far no issues, glitches or crashes.

Bad, does not work.
Incompatible with late model phones. Connection app unsupported. Could not get it to work, which is a bummer as i was really looking forward to it. I'll just go buy the real thing i guess. Lesson learned. Learn from me!

No volumn but touchpad is better.
No volumn controls! But touchpad-button is more sensitive than OEM model in a good way.

Google no longer supports Daydream.
The controller works fine but Google is discontinuing support for Daydream soon. Also Daydream only works well for 15-20 minutes until my phone starts overheating. I'd have been better off getting an Oculus or some other complete BR system.

Not OEM, NO VOLUME controls
Drifts and does not have volume controls, passable remote for use with Daydream App and your own viewer.

Piece of crap. Won't pair won't do anything... didn't even have the batteries that it was supposed to come with...the spot in the box for them was just empty.
