I already had my front door setup with a magnetic lock at the top of the door. When you tried to open the door with the top lock engaged, the bottom of the door would have a little bit of movement. I bought this as a secondary lock on that door positioned more towards the bottom of the door. Now the door doesn't budge one bit!

Good Magnet, however my only complaint is the wire leads are made of very cheap and brittle wiring. You really need to strip back the housing carefully and immediately tin the wire.Use caution

It does come with all components listed so I've rated it a 3 stars since The magnetic strength is not what is advertised to be by far. It was extremely weak. I just went and purchased stinger magnets and used the other components.

I have 3 of these in my escape room, works great. Can be pulled open if you're really trying to force it.

Worthless. The hardware did not match and the system could not be used. I'll be returning it ASAP.

I used these with a WHDTS WiFi electronic switch to control cabinet doors that I needed to lock and appear that they were decorative panels instead of functional doors. These magnets are very strong and convincing.

I hooked the mag lock up to a car battery to test it. Maybe 20 lbs pull to open door.Too weak for my purpose.

I have ordered these on numerous occasions and actually really like them. In fact I just ordered 2 more so you know I like them. This one, however, seems to have gotten water inside the metal plate bag(not the magnetic lock, just the plate). As a result it was rusted when I opened it. Since I needed it and it actually worked just fine, I just lightly sanded off the rust. Have never had this happen before so assuming it's just an anomaly and as I say it works just fine.
