The picture on the cover was nice, however it would have been even better if the cover was of higher quality. The pages in the book are lined. That is fine for us. I purchased some invisible ink pens and a blacklight flashlight so you can see the writing and put together a spy kit for my daughter. The book goes well with it.Con: the pages were all bent on the corners. I believe this was a packaging issue. The box it came in was the exact size of the book. I had to work the book out of the box. It was a tight fit. I considered asking for an exchange but I'm just going to deal with it as is.

The quality is very good! I used these as party favors for a murder mystery party for our 13 year old daughter and her friends and they were a HUGE hit! Highly recommended.

What kid doesn't want a top secret journal! My boys 9, and 12, each had to have one for themselves. I bought disappearing ink for them as well.

Product looks exactly as pictured. The interior pages are a little weird. Some are lined and some aren’t. But it’s not every other page, it’s random. Fine for what I wanted the journal for (preschool kids to use it for doodles while playing “spy detective”), but not what I would usually expect from a journal.

Simple but cute. Son loved it for his blacklight "secret" pens.

Its a great book and would have loved to give it to who i intended too, however I gave mine 2 stars due to whoever handled the book had very dirty greasy hands and the entire cover is ruined because of it. Its bad. Definitely cant give this as a gift as it looks disgusting and possibly old.
