Great pet blanket. Works well around my cats. Liquid doesn't soak through. They wash well in the washer. Im glad I found this. It's comfortable, soft overall a great idea

I have two elderly indoor dogs, both of which have issues with shedding and paw licking and because they sleep at the foot of my bed, it was not uncommon to find wet spots and dog hair on my comforter on a regular basis, resulting in my having to either vacuum surface dog hair or change out linens nightly before I could even get in bed. Another reason I wanted a waterproof protective layer is that I use an electric blanket as a middle layer during colder months which both dogs seem to really enjoy but did not want to risk potential injury to my dogs or damage to my blanket. The blanket arrived in a vacuum sealed plastic packaging and upon opening I was truly blown away by how beautiful and luxurious this dog blanket is, to the point I even double checked the label to confirm that this was indeed a dog blanket. It appears to be very well made lined with plush, warming Sherpa on one side while the reverse features a rich, shiny velour that exudes elegance. I really could not be happier with this blanket and my dogs absolutely love it. I will definitely be buying more and also think it will be a great gift next Christmas for all of my pet loving friends and family members.

So far so good. I just purchased several of these blankets after ordering one and testing it. They are really thin so I was very skeptical that they would be waterproof. I poured water on each side and applied pressure thinking I was certainly going to feel the wetness on the other side of this thin blanket. I was pleasantly surprised that was not the case the other side was dry! I did this to both side sides and each side remain remained dry.I just bought these so I don’t know how long that will last. I’ve purchased other waterproof rugs/covers that lose their ability to withstand water after a few washes. I will report back if I find the wetness starts to bleed through.As far as looks and comfort, they are perfect for my dog. She likes fluffy blankets, but these are thin enough that they are not too hot for her in the summer.Notice there are two different styles. One has a finished edge and the other has a furry edge. I bought one of each. I like the finish the edges because it seems more sturdy, but the furry edges look pretty sturdy as well.Washing instructions say to not put blanket in the dryer…that will be a little difficult with the bigger ones but worth it if these hold up.

To start, I wish there was a 4.5 star option. This blanket is totally worth it. It’s super soft and comfortable. My pups and I love it. It really holds up well. I like the color that I chose, however I wish that the hues could have been tweaked a bit. Machine washable a plus. The description here says do not dry on high heat but the tag says air dry. Once my wash cycle is complete, it still drips a bit of water so I need to put it on drain and spin mode a couple times before I can throw it in the dryer. I think having to drain it after my cycle would be the only downfall.

This blanket is worth its weight in gold. My elderly dog (16 yrs) sometimes has accidents that seep through his diaper. This catches everything. Plus, throw-up too. It washes beautifully - just extra drying time as it is thick. It’s plush and soft, and my dog knows its his blanket and goes to sleep on it. Has held up exceptionally well for the past 6 months. Color is a medium gray. Please pay attention to dimensions as I got the smaller size at first and had to exchange for larger.

We bought this in two different sizes for our new rescue that occasionally leaks urine. These have been great to use on her dog beds, or her corner of the couch or even on top of our beds. They are super absorbent and has a soft side that is cooler and a Sherpa type side which is warmer. The Sherpa side does attract lint and little pieces of her dog bones and such. They wash easily, but must be line dried and do take a while to dry. But we love these, especially when we are visiting other peoples houses to use for her to lay on.

I like this waterproof pet blanket. I have an English Bulldog puppy who goes potty frequently. This controls the mess, washes well.I like that it is double sided with a smooth soft side and a sherpa side. I did get the light gray and cream. The large size. I did come back for another.

I now own 3 of these, one of the small for a dog bed and two large and all three are equally great. Somehow they come smelling amazing, usually anything that comes goes right into the wash as soon as I know I'm not returning it, first because ew and second because I have such sensitive skin that even trying on factory clothes quickly to see if they fit can cause a rash but with these they were well shrink wrapped, super soft and smelled extremely fresh I didn't and had no problems. If I had to guess they actually wash their item in sensitive detergent before shipping it out and I'd love to know which one they use since despite being sensitive enough to not cause an issue it still had a lovely yet not overpowering scent. The scent does wash out if thats a concern for you. These are incredibly soft blankets that wash well and did seem to be waterproof as they beaded water I tested them with. We air dry to try to maintain the waterproofness but even if that dissipated, its still a great blanket and probably thick enough not that much water would be getting through either way.
