Love it it’s a great bowl for my v slicer

I saw that Borner had this bowl available and that it fits the V-slicer. I’ve loved my V-slicer since I received it last Christmas but didn’t like that there was no good way to collect the slices under it. This totally solves that problem! If you have the Borner V-slicer, you need this bowl. It is EXCELLENT! I thinly sliced 6 pounds of onions yesterday and they ALL landed in the bowl and made it into the pan! Didn’t lose one piece. Love this!

Okay, this seems a bit pricey for a plastic bowl, but it's really handy if you have the Borner mandoline. The V-slicer slides right into slots on the bowl, so you don't have to hold it while you work. I haven't had any issues with slippage-- it's very secure. At the same time, it comes off easily so you have quick access to your veggies. The bowl is a nice size and holds quite a bit., and it has a drainage piece in the bottom helps keep your veggies dry. I highly recommend this as a supplement to the V-Slicer, along with the safety holder and a pair of cutting gloves.

great for zucchini lasagna, love that can slice right into the bowl, has an opening that holds v-slicer in place, works great together. Am glad I got the bowl !

Great product but no sieve. It plainly shows in the product photos. I like to have that sieve. I’ve written to Börner for a sieve. We’ll see how long it takes.

Use this ALL the time....I have bought as gifts also.Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store. Dishwasher safe, but rinsing off is just as easy.sI have to master the waffle cut yet.

The item is well conceived. It was recommended by a chef who uses it all of the time. I like how everything fits into one to make storage footprint minimal. I just wish the directions were clearer. It says it can slice and dice in different thicknesses. But, even the enclosed CD is very basic. It leaves the user to guess how to get the feasible end result.

Der Preis ist schon ordentlich für eine Auffangschale. Allerdings läst sich der Börner Gemüsehobel fest arretieren und das zu Schneidende Obst und Gemüse landet in der Schüssel. Ich habe mich trotz des Preises für Börner entschieden weil meine Gemüsehobel nach acht Jahren bis auf die Klingen immer noch nicht gebrochen oder ähnliche Abnutzungen haben. Somit die Qualität stimmt.
