Martingale Dog Collar and Leash Set for Greyhound Saluki Whippet and Other Breeds with Similar Neck 2 Wide (M 11-14 and Leash Set), Orange

I love this collar and it is gorgeous on my fawn brindle whippet. But she does not scratch at it. It is soft and does not bother her and works as a martengale should for sight hounds with neck larger than head. This would not be a durable collar for a dog who scratches as the fabric is lightweight and would snag easily on claws. Sturdiness and durability are not the qualities I was looking for in this collar. Just beauty and comfort.

Indiana had been slipping other collars and even harnesses due to his slim Italian Grey Hound mixed build. Fear of hurting his throat or vocal cords was a concern with a narrow martingale collar found at my local pet stores. This wide collar is perfect and looks great on him also. I love the fact he can’t slip it and when he pulls against the leash it don’t cause him to cough and choke as his previous collars and even harness caused him to do. I’ve even noticed he doesn’t pull as hard with this collar also. Not sure if it coincidence or proper fit and style, but either way we love it.

VERY Beautiful, but very poorly designed/constructed. If you have a gentle, docile, pup who doesn’t pull hard, then this collar might be worth it. However, after only a week of use with my 8mo old Boxer mix, the material is twisting and bunching up inside the metal pieces that are supposed to allow the martingale to smoothly tighten/release. This is causing the collar to tighten, but then not release… Choking the dog. Also, I ordered the size according to the chart. It fit over my dog’s head on the biggest allowed size, but there was no way of getting the collar off without cutting it - Savechoking her and ripping her ears off. If I had ordered a size up, it may have worked, but I also didn’t want it to be too big. In my opinion, this collar is dangerous!

Amazing! Looks soooo good on my greyhound. He looks royal in it and it is great quality. I won't need to replace for a long time but I may get more just to change it up. There are so many great patterns and colors.

Love the design and colors. Strong material, well made.The 2” width works well for our Dobie Hound.

This is a nice, not too heavy collar for my Silken Windhound. If anything, it looks even nicer than the pictures. Very pleased with this purchase!
