Excellent Boots
These boots are fantastic! Ankle support is great, they were comfortable straight away, the feel really sturdy and durable.Super easy to clean I just hose them off, they look great, the sole is nice and thick but they are not too heavy.I am delighted with them, great value for money and they would easily stack up against any of the other more expensive brands.

Surprised
I always buy walking boots for taking the dogs out. Over the past few years I am averaging probably a pair of boots every 9 months or so. I've tried the more expensive ones (£150+) and also the cheap end of the market (£30 or less). Previous boots have not lived up to their waterproof claims, have split or just fallen apart!! £30 every 9 months is not so bad as they are worn in all conditions and all types of terrain for about 4-5 miles every day, but more often than not the waterproofing is poor and it is no fun walking with cold wet feet.Trialling something different from an unknown brand I went for these after reading a couple of other reviews. I've also left it 4 months since my purchase to give greater perspective from my point of view.Although not the lightest of boots and on my first couple of times wearing them they did feel very stiff and unforgiving they have soon softened and I'm more used to the weight now. They have remained warm and waterproof, myself and the dogs have been on muddy walks through fields and woods, I've cleaned them in puddles and walked through ankle deep snow with not a drop of moisture on my socks. They clean up easily, have good grip and are very comfortable with the cushioned footbed. I'd happily buy another pair tomorrow but I can see these outlasting any of my previous purchases

Good boots
These are very good boots for walking the dog, the fit and comfort are very good. They have hardly worn since I bought them and I walk a minimum of 12 miles a day with Saber over rough and damp ground including the beach

Not waterproof as described.....
Great fit, nice n light, very comfy and good ankle support but NOT waterproof. Did a first walk for 2 miles in the rain last Sunday and came home with both feet soaking wet. Totally gutted as I love the boots.

Not the best, not the worst either!
As the ridiculous lockdown was imposed on our society, the need to undertake regular exercise required the aquisition of a suitable walking shoe for regular distance over varying surfaces. I've hiked before in years past, so I have owned various walking boots from different suppliers. Obviously you get what you pay for and for practical reasons I didn't want to spend silly money on a pair of shoes/boots that probably wont be used as often once we are released from our prison sentence. I do understand that regular walking in shoes/boots used in long walks requires a certain acceptance that the feet will need to aquire a degree of getting used to the fit and indeed the product will form to the users foot shape etc. After purchasing a pair of these shoes I can make the following observations and critiques...1. The shoes are well produced and the quality of materials & manufacturing are excellent.2. I usually wear a 8 ~1/2 UK shoe, so ordered an 8 in this product. This was ideal for my foot size.3. The fit was OK, I find the frontal area supporting and protecting the ball and toes is a little wide (& I have wide feet requiring a wide fitting in trainers and shoes) & this means there is movement when I walk. This movement has resulted in blisters occuring on toes and ankles.4. The shoes have proven robust, fairly waterproof and allow for the wicking of sweat from the foot. The soles have proved effective over all surfaces, not slipping too much on damp patches etc.5. I find the inner sole has not a lot of cushion effect, after a 10K walk my feet are fairly sore underneath the heel and toe pads, no doubt an additional inner sole would help, but that's covering up a flaw in the shoe.In summary then, this is a fairly good product in reflection against the price charged. It does the job it's asked to do and provided you don't expect outright performance and luxury you won't be disappointed. For me, they don't fit particularly well and I need to have additional things in place to help make the shoes acceptable to perform correctly. That could be just my feet, but I will make it known here.Other than the above I can say I think it's a fair product for the money.
