I’ve been a huge fan of robe curls over the years. But I found sleeping in them super uncomfortable. I saw this when it first came out but was skeptical. I finnallu gave in a bought it and omg I’m obsessed!! I heated it for 40 seconds which was too much it was very hot. I’ll do 30 next time. I put a tiny bit of mousse for hold and left it for 45 minutes. The result is amazing!!! I can’t believe how good the curls look!!

I had the brand-name version of this product and loved it until I accidentally punctured it after a couple of years of use. When I went to re-purchase I was excited to find this version (it appeared both online and in person to be exactly the same except for the labels).The first time I used it, the curler came out of the microwave with a huge air bubble on one side. he bubble eventually deflated, but now that side is misshapen and and all of the gel beads are collected towards the bottom since it is stretched out. This means there are not any gel beads at the top of one side of the curler, rendering it unusable.I am very frustrated, especially after such a good experience with the name-brand product. I’m not sure if the one I received was defective or if this version is just much lower quality. Overall, I am extremely disappointed.

Easy to use and works like described! It was my first time trying the heatless curl method, and I was surprised by how well it works. I didn’t even put it in the microwave. I just wrapped my dry hair around each side, left it in overnight, and had curls the next morning that lasted all day! I just had a small black blemish on one on the scrunchies upon opening, so I deducted a star.

It popped after microwaving for only 25 seconds. I had it in the fabric sleeve not touching.I bought 2 sets and the other ones haven't done this at all so this set must be defective or something.

This works great, but to get nice curls there are some extra things you can do to help. 1) before use, put some mousse in your hair 2) after waiting the amount of time and before taking it out, take some hairspray and spray onto your hair 3) then take your blow dryer and blow dry directly onto your hair. Then take it out. This works much better than without these additional steps.

I followed the directions to a T. Microwaved for 30 seconds, was not even luke warm. Added 5 seconds as the directions state. It seemed warm so I took it out and started to put in my hair. As I was putting it in my hair, IT EXPLODED EVERYWHERE and burned my skin. I spent an hour cleaning up all the little pink dots and now have burns on my skin

Love this, so easy to pop in the microwave, wrap your hair and go about your morning! I can have a great hairstyle in as little as 20 mins while I do my makeup.

This worked great and easy for days I need to be productive, but also need to get ready. I would prefer the sleep in ones because my hair holds its shape more, but those are super uncomfortable and i often forget. This is supper comfortable on your head and only took 5 minutes tops.

10/10 love this! I’ve tried the silk hair curlers but this one is so much better and super user friendly! I love it so much! The curls it gave me in 20 minutes are beautiful and bouncy!

I didn’t even get to use it as it burst in the microwave after 25 seconds

I can’t say this worked and I can’t see it didn’t work. I feel like it didn’t heat up enough to curl the hair. I will have to keep using it and trying it. Could totally be a waste of time.

I would only recommend this product for long hair. I have shoulder length hair and it works decently. Gives me a beach curl look. Easy to use but make sure you don’t burn your scalp !

I’ve used this 3 different times so far so I am still working out some kinks. If/when i perfect the method I’ll give an update.I have almost impossible to curl hair, every hair stylist I’ve dealt with comments how hard it is to curl and essentially they end up burning a curl into my hair to get it to stick. If I’ve ever wanted to hold a curl in my hair I’ve had to include hair extensions to mix with my natural hair and an insane amount of hairspray to make curls work. So needless to say the part where this actually put a curl into my hair without any damage is insane and says a lot for this product. I would highly recommend for fine haired girls or someone having issues with never being able to accomplish a curl.For the heating of the curls I found it fairly easy, I put the tube into its case making sure to the two ends aren’t touching each other and start with a 20 second microwave and then a 10 or 2 and feel the heat. It’s usually good after 30-40 seconds and I do it this way to avoid the possibility of exploding.Did my hair last long like that? No, I did hairspray a bit but max I’m getting 2-5 hrs of a full curl, but it falls into a pretty wave after that so I’m happy overall.One con for me which is a personal thing is I find the look of it when all tied up is super unflattering on my face so I’ll never wear it near my husband so I’m not getting a ton of use out of it. Nothing against the product but my hair does take hours to dry with it in and it’s hard for me to find that much free time to do it. Otherwise wish I could use this everyday and have these curls regularly!
