Q: What advantage has this "Lego" table over the cheaper one at £48+ ??

I didn't buy this at the current price but it was still £55+. I think its excellent value for money and is used everyday. For me, it gives multiple options and more long term options (sand and water table in the garden when tired of having it in the house). The Lego table helps when other friends vist and we want to focus the play at the table. It's also a lovely personal place for our son to store his special toys and games. He really enjoys it.

Q: Would it be possible to detach the table legs to store it occasionally?

Yes you can, this is a super little table and chair set, my now 20 month niece and nephew love it. Best item I have purchased so far.

Q: Could you use this product, without the legs, on the ground?

I don't see why not. It is sturdy and very well made

Q: Does the board fit Duplo as well as the regular Lego?

Yes it does fit the duplo lego like someone else said not as tight fit with some shapes and my daughters animals don’t have attach to it but the rest fits well my daughter plays with the lego table all of the time she’s nearly two.
