Whitening Tooth Paste
I saw this advertised on QVC and decided to give it a try. I think I see an improvement.

A big improvement over store-bought toothpaste
This is the first time I have used a toothpaste like this. I want to keep my teeth clean and protected, but with alternatives to fluoride. Here’s my 2 cents:• I was initially put off by the gray color from the charcoal in this. I have been using standard OTC store-bought toothpastes which have been white, green, red and even blue – but never gray lol.• A little goes a long way. The hole is smaller than store-bought tooth paste tubes, and a much thinner ribbon of paste comes out on your brush, but you don’t need more than that.• It doesn’t foam like store-bought OTC toothpaste does. But my teeth actually feel cleaner when I finish brushing. I find myself tending to brush harder because it doesn’t foam as much, so I need to keep reminding myself NOT to do that.• The flavor is not strong – just a small hint of mint. There is a bit of an odd taste though, like how hydrogen peroxide leaves an aftertaste (my dentist had his patients rinse with a hydrogen peroxide rinse during COVID – yuck.)• I haven’t noticed any whitening effect yet, but I prefer how this toothpaste cleans and makes my mouth feel than when I use standard store-bought toothpastes. This toothpaste isn’t the best tasting, but it leaves my teeth feeling clean, and I like that it protects my teeth without using fluoride. The bonus will be seeing whiter teeth over time – I hope. Even if I don’t see obvious whitening, I like this toothpaste better than the store-bought stuff I had been using. It is a bit pricey, but I plan to continue using it.

Fresh but not very minty
This Hydroxipatite charcoal toothpaste works okay. It claims to be whitening toothpaste but I haven’t seen major results so far. The paste is gray and has hints of mint flavor, nothing overwhelming, but enough for freshness. There is no normal foaming like your traditional toothpaste, but I’ve found that to be true with different gum-restore toothpastes? So that’s not a deal breaker. After brushing the clean feeling is there, with some mint freshness on top; it definitely feels like this paste is more for sensitive teeth/gums. The price is steep for two the two units that you get when compared to similar products, but if there is actually the added benefit of charcoal and fluoride-free, then the value for the money start to get there.Overall this toothpaste will get the job done and works well for more sensitive teeth/gums. If you are looking for charcoal activated toothpaste targeted to sensitive teeth/gums, and don’t mind paying extra for it, then this may be the one for you.

So far so good
I got this toothpaste because I’d heard of the teeth whitening benefits of using hydroxyapatite. This toothpaste comes in a surprising light grey color. The texture seems a bit airier than typical toothpaste, but it sits on the toothbrush in similar density. When brushing, it does not lather at all, but it is easy to apply a similar amount (as typical toothpaste) to all teeth. I brushed for the suggested amount of time of two minutes, covering all teeth and gum line. The taste was minty, but not as strong as typical toothpaste. I felt my teeth were clean afterwards, and my gums experienced no sensitivity to this toothpaste (I cannot use typical whitening toothpaste because it bothers my gums!) In reading more about hydroxyapatite, I hear it could be good for gum health, which intrigues me since I have gum pockets on some teeth that I wish to halt. I will continue using this to see if my teeth are whitened over a couple weeks (as stated in description) and if my gums are better at the next dental appointment (my hope, not promised by this toothpaste). I hope to remember to report back!

Taste is decent but low on charcoal
I'm not sure why this is called Brilliant Black when it's actually grey. This is probably not the best option if you are looking for a charcoal toothpaste to help scrub your teeth. There is charcoal in it but not as much as others which are distinctively black in color. My teeth don't feel quite as smooth with this one. Aside from that this does seem to be a great toothpaste. The flavor is decent and it cleans well compared to big brand commercial toothpastes. It's not as strongly mint flavored like a Colgate but it's pleasantly innoffensive for a natural/charcoal paste. I'm going to keep using it and see if my opinion changes. I think I have enough to make it to my next dental cleaning so it will also be interesting to see if the dentist sees any difference after a couple months of use.

So much better than fluoride
I have been using hydroxyapatite toothpaste for a little over a month now and I have noticed a huge difference in the way my teeth feel cleaner for a longer period of time. In the past I’ve used fluoride and have not noticed any difference in the amount of cavities I get so after a family member recommended hydroxyapatite toothpaste I started using it and noticing a huge difference in my overall oral hygiene. The ingredients are clean and much better for you than fluoride which is a neurotoxin.

Wonderful toothpaste!
This is a great whitening toothpaste. It is vegan approved and has a mint taste for anyone looking for a more "natural" alternative. It's a unique toothpaste because it also contains hydroxyapatite along with charcoal to not only help whiten teeth, but to also help maintain enamel. On the other hand, the toothpaste is quite small 3.4oz vs traditional toothpaste that are generally over 6 ounces. Further, this 2-pack toothpaste is certainly more expensive then the other traditional toothpaste. Unlike those other ones though, it does not have fluoride. I've used it only a couple of times and have not noticed any increased gum sensitivity which is great. To be perfectly honest, I also haven't noticed any significant whitening. Having that said, I'll provide an update and keep everyone posted in a couple of weeks if the results turn out to be spectacular.
