Expert Shieldscreen protector compatible with Leica M (240/246 / 262) (crystal clear)

So, you get an expensive camera. You then get a case to protect and improve handling of the camera. But what about the screen??Look no further, this screen protector shield is perfect. It took me sometime (7 min) to get one due to my poor coordination, but once on it will not come off, so no need to worry there.I get excellent screen clarity and since use the iPhone shield these guys sell as well, I have NO DOUBT this will hold up just as well. When the camera is off you can barely tell the protector is on the camera.So yes, get this screen protector. You just spent a car on this camera. It is only common sense to protect the most used (and exposed) feature of the camera (apart from the lens/sitter button).

Despite following all the super chummy instructions, corners remain unstuck and I don't feel it will last.

I've never liked screen protectors, but figured I should get a good one after I had an incident with my Leica M where the screen got a small ding. Today whilst on holiday I tripped over and fell flat on my face. The camera which was slung over my shoulder took a full force crash onto the ground underneath me, screen first. The camera body itself is scratched to hell, and the expert shield had some huge scuffs over it... but the screen underneath was perfect. I've just bought a replacement, and completely trust Expert Shield now.

Having lashed out 5 grand for a camera with no lens it seems stupid to buy something that costs 8 quid to protect your investment's LCD screen, but it's not...Not stupid that is. So scrape together what's left in your bank account after buying the Leica M 240 and get one of these Expert Shields for the LCD screen, they're worth the pennies spent. Mine installed perfectly first time, no bubbles or repositioning needed. You should though, as I did, heed the Marmite warning on the packaging......Marmite? Buy one, you'll see.

This item was easy to apply to rear screen, of camera. The screen appears to work well, with no loss of brightness on viewing screen.

I followed the instructions and tried to be really careful but still got some annoying bits of dust underneath. The more you try to remove them the worse it gets. I'll leave it on the camera for the moment but it's far from perfect.

Considering the cost of this camera you may think this couldn't possibly be any good. In fact I found it pretty easy to install, it did take a couple of attempts to get it square and I did have a couple of small air bubbles but I managed to squeeze them out. In terms of protection time will tell but so far I'm very happy with it.

Great product at a good price, with really helpful instructions. The quality screen protector fits perfectly and is easy to install. Their customer service team is honestly one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Highly recommended.
