The dimensions 20.3 x 15.1 x 6.6cm make it sound far too small for an average bottom. Anyone know the true dimensions?

I should have made it clear on my previous answer that the 30 x 20 refers to the whole in the seat. The external dimensions are 42 * 33cm

Do you need to access the underside of the toilet to fit it?

No you can push the plugs in from the top, then you can screw them in, really easy to fit.

No it's not soft closing, I had to change the hinges from my old seat. Hope this help's.

Do you need to take the bolts completely out to fit this? If so how do you stop the parts underneath from falling inside. I’ve had that happen before!

Unscrew the bolts and lift the seat off. The bolts screw into a plastic insert in the pedestal so there is no danger of parts falling inside.

Good replacement Roca Sydney toilet seat

This was a replacement for my original Ricardo toilet seat which lasted for 10 years. This one has a slightly more plasticky finish but looks good hope it last as long as the previous one!
