Definitely a page-turner for me
Definitely a page-turner for me. I was engrossed from the beginning and wanted to continue reading nonstop. I realized that I need to continue only when I had a chuck of time, since I knew it would be difficult to stop! The plot is full of intrigue, family history, starting over and learning to trust again. It was very emotional to read. The characters are fantastic, as always with a book written by Phillipa Ashley! I especially adore elderly people in books I read, so the inclusion of Iris as a main character was joyful. It was delightful to learn about lighthouses and the close-knit family that serviced them for years.Since this a romance, I must say that the two destined for love are wonderfully suited for each other and I loved being on their journey to a happily ever after. Eden and Levan have a rocky road, but they can handle it and will come out at the end of the path stronger as one.

Can love find a way around secrets?
How many people hold secrets in their lives - and how can we ever know if we know EVERYTHING about someone. This is a beautifully written story of love, heartbreak, betrayal, and a re-awakening of understanding that real love can overcome all obstacles if there is honor and honestly involved.Eden and Levan have a burning attraction to each other, but the past - both of theirs and others around them - keep intruding on the struggling romance. But while some secrets tear down, others bring understanding and give courage to trust and move forward in life.A true "second chance romance" novel - with well written characters, and a story line that will keep you turning pages, and wishing for more when the final page is turned.

Such a wonderful way to celebtate summer, loved it !
If I could pick a grandmother besides mine I would pick Iris hands down. She is my kind of spunky woman I just love her no nonsense approach to life. If you've never met an Adonis in a garden then you can find one here doing a downward dog in a Speedo and that's only the beginningWhy would he buy the house next door? In a small village where everyone knows everything no one knew it was for sale, so many questions. He managed to charm all the ladies even Eden who had no plans to get involved. It wasn't hard to love these warm characters, of course Levan did, who can resist Sardine not I. By the way who doesn't want to see a lighthouse up close and personal? I know too many questions. You must read this book it's another winner

A great story. In beautiful setting
Great story about Eden and Levant how Eden had been betrayed by her husband Simon Nd had returned to Cornwall to live with her mother, where she started her own coffee business and met Levan when he moved next door.I thought the episode of Levan telling Eden about his past a bit silly she was unable to see what had led him to be in that situation and took it as another betrayal . Overall I enjoyed the book . But felt the ending a bit of a damp squib I wonder if we can expect a sequel, because we learned all about Edens story and her mother and grandmother. But seems a story to tell more about Eden and and Levans romance. Also Levans back story and his family.💗💗💗💗
